The location itself, Tour-en-Sologne, was a beautiful little town which we enjoyed walking around. The hotel is very well situated, just 15 minutes or so from Chambord to see the grandest chateau of the Loire and 15 minutes from Blois which is a beautiful town on the river with its own amazing Château. There are several other Château close by. There are plenty of dinner options nearby with ample variety to suit any palate. The breakfast provided was great and was more than enough to energise a day of Château viewing. There was plenty of parking just off the road in front of the hotel. The receptionist upon arrival was a delight and spoke great English. The room was a great size, much bigger than that photos suggest, and was well presented on our arrival.

We loved our overnight stay on the way back to the uk. The hotel has lovely rooms which are clean and tidy with an outdoor seated area for each room. Shower was large with separate toilet. We liked the honesty box for drinks and food. Staff were super helpful and very friendly. Very good value for money. Plenty of places to eat nearby. We liked that they accepted dogs and only charged €5 per dog

Everything about our stay was perfect. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and escorted to our room which was lovely and immaculate. Our host was very patient with all of our questions and extremely helpful. It is conveniently located to the Chateau Chambord where we were visiting. If we are ever back in the area we will be sure to return to this little gem. Do not hesitate to reserve a room!

We wanted to stay another night but they were fully booked, however, the host graciously assisted us in locating another place to stay.

In a quiet little village in the middle of ‘Chateau Country’. Plenty of parking, all ground level rooms, 24hr access to the kitchen area, an honesty system for coffee, beer, wine etc - quite refreshing in this day and age. Easy stroll to village centre. Would recommend the ‘Jar Meals’ and the madams restaraunt recommendations.

Room and bathroom could be bigger, but they’re adequate.

Lady in reception was really lovely and explained everything very clearly. The room was fabulous for a stop over with two dogs, we were able to sit on the veranda and have a nice walk in the area. Would definitely stay again but next time in an air conditioned room.

Only stayed overnight. We arrived late but our host was very accommodating and friendly. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, in particular the homemade apple cake. Our host was friendly and treated everyone like family…very welcoming.

The table and chairs on the terrace outside our room were lovely. The garden was pretty and it was quiet. The meal we had at a restaurant 2 minutes away was excellent.

There was a slight smell of sewage when we woke up. Nothing too bad though.

The breakfast was very good being mainly home made products. Aurore was very gentle and available for any needs. The location is in a quiet area not far from the Cheverny castle. Finally I was satisfied for staying there

A wonderful place! Very convenient for visiting the nearby castles. Friendly and responsive staff. Excellent breakfast! Clean, cozy and pleasant, like in a country house. You have tables available in the garden in front of your room.

Perfect for couples or friends traveling together. Plenty of comfortable seating available in the evening. Perfect location for visiting Château de Chambord and Château de Chenonceau
