The location is very peaceful, and the surroundings are beautiful and comfortable. There is plenty of parking space. The staff are very friendly, and you can buy tickets for Château de Chambord directly from them, saving you the trouble of lining up at the château.

Our room was on two levels, with the upper level being an attic. The ceiling in the attic is lower in some areas, so taller guests might need to be careful when sitting or standing, as they could easily bump their heads.

The breakfast is quite good, with plenty of options and fresh food. The employees are very friendly, and the kids loved the swimming pool. The beds are comfortable and clean. We regret not having dinner here, as we chose another restaurant in town that we didn’t enjoy.

Situated far from the main road and cities, there are limited options for restaurants and activities. The room is a bit small for four adults and two kids, and we received some complaints about the typical noise kids make.

Very nice location right in the middle of the forest with a large garden where the kids could run around. The reception personnel was very nice, I would give a bonus to the male receptionist as he went above and beyond for us to feel welcomed. Comfortable beds and pillows. The food at dinner was great and I recommend you to make a reservation for dinner. Good choice for breakfast. It has a pool but we did not try it.

While the room was generally clean there were a lot of spiders and spider nets in the bathroom and the room. My daughter has an allergy to spider bites and we had to remove the spider nets ourselves. I think in terms of cleaning the room corners and ceilings should also be cleaned.

Gorgeous property in the Loire. Even lovelier and more intimate than photos. Rooms were large and beautifully equipped. Staff went out of their way to accommodate dietary issues, delayed arrival and more. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was excellent as were the local wines.

We loved the pool! it was very hot and after a day of chateaux-ing a swim was heaven. beautiful surroundings and very quiet. Clean room. we had a family room with terrace which was super nice.

the staff at breakfast. Some very rude (which might have been a result of them not speaking English, too). I do speak French though and we were told off like kindergarten kids for sitting at the wrong table. Dinner staff was very nice though!

Refill at the breakfast bar can be a bit quicker, however that’s just because everything is very delicious 😋

Lovely property. Really comfy beds. Helpful staff. Great meal at night at reasonable prices. Excellent location for bike rides - but look out for the horse flies. Beavers in the pond next to the restaurant kept the kids interested.

Breakfast was poor for the price - would expect that sort of breakfast to be included in the room rate.

Fantastic place to stay, very pretty despite the November and rainy season. Old style buildings, yet with fairly recent furnishing in the rooms, providing a pretty and pleasant stay.

Not much to be honest. I would say the food was nice, but I would not quite say worth the price. But still fairly tasty. Only « slight » downside on our stay. But then we re French, so quite picky eaters ;)

I came here last year and we liked it. So we came back this year again. It is even better. There is a new pool. We can rent electric bike. The hotel is in the center of chambord domain. It is spacious and quiet. The staff is very gentle. You can relax and enjoy your vacation. The dinner in the restaurant is so good. We have really appreciated our stay here.

The grounds were beautiful and the bike paths to Chambord were super convenient. Having complementary electric bikes was a big bonus. The bar/restaurant staff were great.

No screens on the windows so we could not open our windows at night due to bugs. Very hot up in the loft.
