Second time we have stopped here en-route to the South Coast. Montauban is a hidden gem. Perfect location with huge underground parking right outside with a lift to the hotel front door, to make luggage easy. 2 minutes and you are into the pedestrianised centre and wonderful square full of bars and restaurants Nice decor that makes it feel like a French hotel, whereas so many stopover locations don't. Happy and welcoming staff.

There is road works and diversions in the location, but that is not any fault of the hotel.

The staff at the hotel were super friendly & helpful. Even though we were late for breakfast, they allowed us to take it anyway. Having arrived in Montauban late, the lovely lady at reception also called a taxi to pick us up at the station.

The hotel reception closes early. Our train from Carcassonne was severely delayed & we very nearly missed checking in. It would have been very difficult to find another room at that time.

Nice hotel to stay in the center of the city. Rooms are rather small however well equipped, good WiFi, AC. Breakfast is simple, but sufficient.

Absence of hotel parking. You can park your car at underground parking for 10 euro. Staff is pleasant, however only French speaking - challenging communication

Fantastic location, parking steps away (approx €15 a day), lovely public rooms, friendly staff, well furnished room. Daily room cleaning and change

Great room but no view from our window. Pity there was no bar or coffee making facilities.

Very centrally located with a huge modern underground car park under the square in front of the hotel. The rooms were well decorated, clean and comfortable. Exactly what we needed for an easy one night stop en route.

Location, location, location! Near the centre of town with secure underground car park (pricey) right on the doorstep. Comfy bed, good shower, air con working tho controller had no batteries.

No tea/coffee facilities or complimentary water in the room. Decor in the room, corridors and public spaces was fresh but the dark grey theme made the place seem very dark and quite dismal

Great location- very central - new public secure car park underground - lift to parking just opposite hotel entrance and reception - staff friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, bed comfortable, facilities great. Very hot when we arrived but the room was as cool as possible. Air con was useful.

There’s no way to make a basic drink and not even water in the room. If you arrive late make sure you have water at least! Tap water was ok! not a complaint but for other weekday travellers just a note that the square is being developed. Could be building noise during the week.

Breakfast was tasty & nutritious! No hot serves but good variety.

A small room fridge would have been useful along with a kettle / tea making items.

Good position- near Cathedral and overlooking beautiful gardens

High cost of underground parking - no alternatives

Close to main plaza. Has what you need for a short stay. Reception booked a taxi for us.

1 key for 2 people and door needs key to lock, not good if one wants to go out for an early walk, have to wake the other person
