I had received a message to tell me that I would be welcomed by the host's mother, and I was very much welcomed. Marie-Helene was absolutely wonderful and, as you'd expect from a good mother, she really wanted to make sure I had everything I wanted. If I'd accepted every cup of coffee I was offered I could have jumped to Barcelona. This is a very peaceful and spacious place and the coffee machine is hands down the best one I've come across in a property booked through this site. I needed to work in peace in my room in the evening and morning and I am very happy with the work and felt comfortable doing it with decent wi-fi. Breakfast was thoughtfully done. There was no way I was getting out of there without Marie-Helene's waffles. I had them with the best honey I've ever had, casually presented: "oh yes, we have bees..." (I speak good French, and was speaking French throughout my stay, which might have added to my sense of comfort here.)

Having to go down the corridor to the bathroom means I couldn't sleep naked, but that's fine, it's cold.

We liked everything! The warm and friendly welcome from our host Gael and his attentive availability. It was our best ever stopover stay and we would have liked to stay longer. We loved the room, its comfort and facilities, the countryside location, the proximity to Montauban, the free, secure parking and the free WIFI. Gael's delicious home-made honey was a surprise bonus

This place greatly exceeded our expectations. We found the cheapest place as a stopover but it actually turned out to be one of two spare rooms in someone's home. The owner's mother is lovely despite us not sharing a common language :-D The room was big, comfortably and very quiet. There's an enormous shared living room / dining area with a massive TV that you can use. Free parking right next to the house. Typical continental breakfast was included and was good and more than enough. The area is very quiet (it's literally next to a field full of cows) but was easy to find and secure. WARNING/BONUS - the house has two cats which are extremely friendly. Probably not a good idea to stay if you have your own pets with you.

The only negative I can think of is keep the windows shut because of mosquitos. Nothing else.

Gael was very precise with providing info, before as well as during and after our stay. We felt welcome at his home, and we had some nice talks. The room (with en suite bathroom) is roomy and comfortable. His cats are cute - we'll miss Mojito! P.s. Don't forget to try Gael's honey, it's amazing.

We had some some mosquitos in the room at night, which is hardly the hosts fault :)

Calm quiet area. Kind host . Lovely airy room. Lovely facilities. As it turned out we (unusually) had the place to ourselves until bedtime so that was nice after a busy day travelling.

Nothing. I was surprised to see the two cats as I hadn't realised they were there when I booked. However the host keeps the premises immaculate and the cats do not go in the rooms.

The host was very welcoming and facilities in the home such as kitchen and lounge are available for the use of guests. Everything is neat and clean and there is coffee, tea and juice should you want. A very nice stay and a very comfortable bed.

Toilet and shower not en-suite. It is however mentioned in the description and the shower is large

This property is excellent our host and his family were exceptional nothing was a trouble and we were offered full use of all facilities the house had to offer. We were really made to feel welcome and part of the family it is absolutely spotless. We had a lovely breakfast before leaving would definitely recommend it and will definitely stop again when in the area.

There was nothing to dislike it’s excellent.

ease of parking. gated. spacious. clean. v.good bed. hot water. Ate good breakfast on terrace watching happy cows and calves. washed down with ample good fresh coffee. Friendly, helpful unobtrusive professional host. Will gladly come again.
