I had visited Montignac-Lascaux a couple of times before but my stay at Le P’tit Monde was as a stopover during a four day trip around the area and I chose it due to its location on the edge of the bustling the tourist centre, and because the large municipal free car park was virtually across the road. It was only a short stroll to some excellent restaurants (but check their opening times) and, because all I want is a croissant & coffee for breakfast, there was a boulangerie and café a few more strides towards the centre. I received a warm efficient welcome and was unpacking my case within a couple of minutes. It’s not a modern hotel by any means but my first floor room overlooking the street was clean and bright and thankfully quite cool. It had an open metal unit with shelves & a hang rail rather than a wardrobe, plus a small but efficient electric floor fan and a large shower room. It was a decent hotel and reasonable value considering it was July in a popular pretty Dordogne village.

The hotel had all I needed for one night as a cyclist on tour. The receptionist was very welcoming and there was safe bike shelter out the back to leave my bike. Close to the centre of town for all the amenities the hotel had great kerb appeal. Overall I would stay here again 😊

The bed was a little soft for me but was still very comfortable. The shower cubicle was very small and was starting to become a little tired.

Staff provided helpful information regarding visiting Lascaux IV. The room was comfortable. Free parking was very convenient across the street.

Google Maps took me to the wrong place, so it took me a little while to find the location. The front door was a little tricky to unlock after hours.

It's a nice and cosy little place. The room was very comfy, clean and spacious with all the amenities included. There was parking nearby. Had a very good stay. Would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Lascaux. It takes just a short walk to reach the Lascaux IV.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, free car park only yards away, although on a fairly busy road good sound proofing worked well.

No lift and sleep stairs, shower rather small and cramped.

Walking distance to Lascaux cave and to old centre of town; nice breakfast and garden; good size room. Host very helpful and friendly staff

Not a dislike but my room was up two floors, no elevator and narrow stairs so do not bring supersize suitcases (good advice going anywhere!!).

It was very clean, there was a ping pong table, jacuzzi and a pool. The room itself was very neat

The reception closes at 20 as well as the pool and Jacuzzi. If you haga a room with a window to the terrace the smoke of people using it gets in

Late arrival was possible. The room was quiet. There was a garden in the back with the pool and we could swim after a nice breakfast.

Easy to find. Not very far from the town center. Good facilities for my 1-night stay. Great value for money. Free parking nearby.

No air conditionning. There was a fan in the room but not much help in the middle of a heat wave.
