Honestly one of the best hotels we have stayed at and one which fully deserved the 5 stars and a top rating on booking.com. The location is idyllic, the property is beautifully designed and well maintained, facilities and especially the SPA and the gym are top class, and the staff is wonderful! The two restaurants have amazing food and the breakfast is superb with a wide selection of top quality food and also a la carte eggs. Also the property is super dog friendly - we stayed there with our two little Maltese dogs and the staff were really caring and helpful with dogs allowed everywhere across the property. Also the village is a 5 min walk from the hotel and is beautiful with lots of things to see and restaurants to visit. Plus Cannes is just a 20 min drive if anyone fancies a bit more chaos. We will be definitely back - in fact during the stay we already booked another long weekend there. Couldn’t recommend more!

Absolutely nothing

It’s a gorgeously furnished and freshly renovated hotel with a breathtaking backdrop in the Cote d’Azur. Old town of Mougins is a few minutes away on foot but we appreciated the offered transfer as well. High quality and large variety of breakfast options. Staff was really friendly and helpful. Location is close to the motorway so traffic is pretty good in this area, especially compared to hotels of the same price range in Cannes or any of the major cities, and thankfully not as busy either.

Our room (amongst others) was near the restaurant, and was equipped with large, wholly transparent glass doors. Anyone who passed by or was seated at a nearby table at the restaurant, could see right into of our room, including our personal belongings and our bed. Of course, there were curtains and shutters which we closed for the night, but no one wants to stay without natural lighting during the day. During the day, the rooms offered little to no privacy.

The staff was great, except for the first night when they couldn’t get us a second blanket, in revanche - it was pretty late when we asked, but we fixed it next day. Special thank to the Valet service, who was attentive, fast and super friendly. We really loved the territory, the view from our room (main building), this cute little terrace we had overlooking the garden. They had nice breakfast and possibility to order eggs all possible ways, the Tiggr restaurant was also nice. I would say it was good value for money given that we were spending days outside of hotel, the vibe and design of the whole hotel is very Mexican like and i really enjoyed the decor and colors. Just few mins from hotel is the old village with restaurants and shops, hotel can bring you up with the golf car - very appreciated.

Some things in our room definitely could have been made smarter - there is no wardrobe where you can hang long dresses (shout out for ladies), we didn’t have any full sized mirror, lacked some more hooks/hangers in the room, would have been nice to have another small table or tabouret in the bathroom - it was simply impossible to place both cosmetic bags on the sink.

Our stay at Le Mas Candille was nothing short of exceptional – we genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing. Our room was beautifully appointed, tastefully decorated, and far more spacious than expected, complete with two lovely balconies. The service was truly best-in-class. My partner had fractured his coccyx/spine just before we arrived, and the entire team – especially the concierge – went above and beyond to ensure his comfort. They arranged a doctor, filled prescriptions, and even collected additional medical supplies for us. Their kindness and efficiency made an incredibly difficult situation much more manageable. Beyond that, every single staff member – from the receptionists and waiters to the valet and housekeeping – was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to help with any request. The property itself is breathtaking. The spa, gym, and sauna facilities were top-notch, and the serene atmosphere made for a wonderfully relaxing experience. The food at both restaurants (Pool and Tigrr) more than exceeded expectations and we would highly suggest trying one of their Puff Pastry Wagyu Burgers. We wholeheartedly recommend Le Mas Candille to anyone looking for a luxurious and caring escape. We can’t wait to return.

There's nothing we did not like!

Overall a very good experience. A decent hotel with reasonable prices for spring. Though not sure of peak season prices. Rooms were comfortable and weirdly our room had no table or chair and only 2 hangers. Once mentioned to staff they were very responsive and got us a chair and hangers. Rooms were nice and comfy. Their new Tigrrr restaurant was very good but be ready to pay London and New York type of prices. The pool was excellent and nice and so was the spa. They need to improve on restaurant options. The pool restaurant was very basic and the menu was not much to choose from. But then Mougins town is 10 mins walk away so we went there a few times and ate there. Their cocktail bar needs some good ice cubes to make a proper cocktail.

The property is tastefully renovated and all facilities are great. Amazing breakfast in perfect setting. Great pool areas with the larger pool part of the spa area kept adults only which is great and allows for very relaxing atmosphere.

Currently only one restaurant on site (by the pool area) with great menu and super nice service and atmosphere but pricing especially on the drinks side way too high. Considering the size of the property and service offered to clients they would benefit from adding a bar-style eatery with an easy and better priced menu, people will surely order way more drinks if pricing is slightly tempered down. It’s a miss really if they don’t capture this opportunity.

Breakfast was amazing, the design of the hotel is exquisite - asking for room service confused them - but they came up with food from the restaurant - it should be noted that the food in the restaurant in the evening is excellent Japanese if you are hoping for traditional French - however, there are several really incredible restaurants in Mougins itself from basic to fabulous Michelin starred. Cocktails were first class. Our room was a little small, but extremely comofrtable.

Room size.

From the moment you arrive through the gates to be greeted by the valet and all the staff, the hotel Was fantastic. Loved all of the interiors, the attention to detail followed from the interiors through to the food and the staff. In a beautiful setting.

More kids options on the food menu. The hotel catered very well to children with their own robes, activity kits and shower items in the rooms but the dining was quite limited.

Confusing, there should be more signs on the walkways of the property to understand where things are located Or one of the staff members should explain the property at the check in — maybe a property map would help as the place is big and spread out Check in was average , for this tipe of a place I had better experiences (welcome drink would be appropriate, and water before departure) It was also confusing where to stop with the car for check In Before we left we discovered one of the nicest areas of the place which is the terrace and library next to the hopefully soon opened fine dining restaurant

Comfortable. Charming staff. Delicious food.

The only slight issues were that the meat portions at dinner were too generous - we managed to eat about half and i dont like to waste food! Other guests may have eaten everything. At breakfast we ordered the eggs Benedict. Ingredients and presentation were excellent. However the whole thing was barely warm - the spinach cold, plate cold, egg very slightly warm. But the buffet was outstanding. S The spa staff were very professional and we shall return to use more of the facilities.
