The Hotel Geoffrey Marie Opera is located about a 20 minute walk from the Gare du Nord train station, with connections direct to CDG. 10 minutes (2 blocks) from the Cadet Metro station. There are many restaurants and cafes in the immediate area, which are frequented by the local Parisians, and have typical Paris pricing, not Paris tourist prices. There is a "Franprix" supermarket on the same block for groceries. Note that hot foods are not allowed in the hotel rooms, but there is a mini fridge for breakfast foods, etc. Instant coffee and tea are in the room. The street in front of the hotel is quiet, and so are the rooms. Remember, you are in Paris to enjoy the city, not the interior of a hotel. The hotel is clean, quiet, and well-located for walking the city.

We had one breakfast in the hotel. It was a typically anaemic Continental Breakfast. Better to get breakfast from the grocery store or enjoy one of the neighbourhood cafes.

Location is perfect, close to everything you need. There are many restaurants nearby and you can easily walk from the hotel to many different attractions in Paris, from the Louvre to Palais Garnier. The room is small but cozy, comfortable enough to spend a few nights; it was also clean, with clean towels available everyday and clean comfortable bed. The TV has access to netflix and the WiFi worked properly.

I got very disappointed with breakfast: only a few croissants were available. It’s better to eat somewhere else since there are many options around the hotel.

A lovely hotel in the center of Paris. All major attractions can be reached within a 20-40 minute walk. There are three supermarkets nearby, as well as plenty of cafes and bakeries. As a complimentary gesture from the hotel, we received breakfast – freshly baked goods – delivered to our door almost every morning. The room is small but functional, with plenty of outlets. The cleaning service was excellent. The only downside was the bed linen, which didn't feel very comfortable. We spent a week here and sincerely recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect Staff were friendly and were very interested in learning about how we learnt french. Were happy to communicate with us in both languages and made out stay very easy Cleaner always there and doing an amazing job. Our apartment was spotless and fresh (with an Air-Con. Yes, the exist in Europe) Had a proper breakfast with several options including drinks, much more than we were expecting. And although not a full buffet, meant we didn't need to stress to buy food. Beds were comfy with plenty of space. Shower was also quite large. Nice location. Cute little restaurants and patisseries around and easy access to the metro which takes you in several directions (Yes, including close to la tour eiffel)

Breakfast did finish at 9-9h30 which was a bit early given we wanted to explore the night a bit as well, otherwise nothing to say

I stayed for two nights with my mother in a room with separate beds. The room was quite spacious. The shower, toilet, bedding, floors, and surfaces were all clean. The room had air conditioning, but we didn’t use it. Despite the high temperature outside, the room wasn’t too hot (we were on the second floor). We closed the windows at night because of the street noise. With the windows closed, it was neither stuffy nor noisy. We didn’t hear any neighbors either. The room had an electric kettle, a small refrigerator (which cooled well), tea, coffee, sugar, and disposable cups. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They explained everything clearly and showed us around. They also let us leave our suitcases at the hotel after check-out. Breakfast was a nice bonus: an omelet, a croissant, a chocolate bun, tea, coffee, and orange juice. It was a hearty breakfast, especially for a woman. It was included in the room rate. There is no hotel breakfast on Saturday morning. The location was also convenient, and the hotel itself felt quite cozy.

The bed sometimes creaks. The pillows are not very comfortable for me.

For a 2.5-3* in the 2nd Arr in Paris this was fantastic value for money. Breakfast was included and the staff were extremely friendly. The old guy especially was my fave. Always up for a laugh and a joke. One of our favourite budget hotels in Europe. Location was great with Gran Boulevard Metro a few mintes walk. The choice for food within a 1k radius was fantastic. Bars, restaurants and shopping everywhere on "grands boulevards". Paris is always an easy walk so even a 30 minute stroll to the Seine was a pleasure.

Anything else would add to cost so no, everthing was great.

The location of the hotel is exceptionally good: Galeries Lafayette, the Opéra Garnier, and the Louvre are all within walking distance. The subway is about a 5-minute walk away, which makes it an extremely convenient place to stay. The room was very clean, the towels were changed, and the toiletries were refreshed upon request. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The hotel staff were exceptionally polite and helpful.

Sometimes the water in the shower ran cold, but the issue was quickly resolved after we explained it to the front desk manager.

Excellent location in Paris 9th Arrondisement. Close to restaurants and shops. Our room had a fridge, hairdryer, safe and nice large shower. There was a. Complimentary bottle of water in the room. The staff were lovely and friendly and the owner, who we met, was delightful and we chatted with him in French and English. Although not advertised, breakfast was included in the price. Fresh Nespresso coffee was available as were bread, wonderful croissants, pan au chocolate, plus omlettes etc

Rooms are very basic and could use updating. Chipped paint and woodwork. But the welcome from the owner and friendly staff made the hotel a home from homea

This hotel is a great value, elevator, the staff was excellent, and the room was a good size, plenty of toiletries, mini fridge, view of the street and close to Grands Boulevards metro stop. Our room was on the 4th floor, and very quiet. The hotel entry has dual security doors, so we felt very safe. Around the hotel, there are plenty of bakery's, cafe's, restaurants, convenience stores, and even a laundromat across the street that we used. We also recieved fresh complentary croissants everyday of our stay which was a very nice touch! I will definitely stay here again.

There was a small safe, but not for a laptop. There was a little of a sewer odor emanating from the bathroom, but it could have been due to some previous repair work, but the bathroom was very clean, so it wasn't a big deal for me. Be aware, there are some house rules of no food in the rooms, like pizza, other than small items like fruits and snacks.

The reception was very welcoming with smooth check-in. The room was small with city view in 2nd floor but was generally comfortable. Excellent location, plenty of dining options nearby, theatres, 5 mins walk to the metro 8,9, and 7 and many other bus stops which makes you very well connected to all Paris. Laundry and supermarket are just in front of the hotel. You’ll get daily complimentary croissants each morning except Saturdays. On the other hands, no facilities at all, no lobby cafe, no bar, no terrace, no other facilities only room and washroom suitable for short stays.
