Very close to Gare L’Est and restaurants. Nice comfortable room, good shower.

Staff not around when I first arrived, walked in from the street and lots of people’s bags were being stored there just in the open. Could easily have been stolen. Backs onto a Main Street so a bit noisy but wasn’t an issue for me as a deep sleeper.

The room was even bigger than what we expected! We ended up having an entire apartment with two communicating rooms, one bathroom and a kitchen corner. The room was clean and got everything we needed. The beds were extremely confortable and we had a pleasant quite sleep. The hotel is located few meters away from the Gare de l'Est and it is super easy to reach any places in Paris center from there. There are few restaraunts and boulangeries in the neighborhood and I felt safe to wal around, even at night. The staff was nice and promptly replied to our questions and requests. Highly recommended!

We deliberately looked for a hotel near Gare du Nord as we had a few days in transit after a long holiday and too many bags! It was a lovely one night stay in a classic French hotel, the room was on the 6th floor with adorable shutters and the ability to keep the windows open while we were out. We could easily store our bags and there were two comfy chairs that we sat in watching the world go by. It was warm and the fan was great overnight. We loved the traditional lift and the wooden spiral staircase. There is a nice sitting area and the staff were lovely.

Excellent service, polite staff, lovely people. Renovated rooms, very clean, comfortable mattress (on the hard side but perfect for us!). We loved how quiet it was during the night, we had excellent sleep. Also, very convenient location, next to Gare de l'Est, 10 mins walk from Gare du Nord, metro lines outside the hotel, and grocery stores and bakeries nearby.

Nothing significant. We arrived 30 minutes before check-in time and only one room on the top floor was ready but we didn't mind. The lift is tiny (one person with luggage or two without) but it's safe and works well. Sketchy neighbourhood however, be careful at night.

For reasons I did not understand we were upgraded to an "apartment" i.e. a bedroom with sittingroom/kitchenette and shower room. The excellent Covered Market St Quentin was just round the corner, open until 8pm where you an get very good cooked food to eat in the room for a fraction of restaurant prices. Even closer was Monoprix from where we got our breakfast things, though the hotel breakfast was clearly popular and looked good. If we had been staying more than a night this apartment would have paid for itself very soon. In no way luxurious, it was clean and perfectly pleasant, and we were delighted with it. The staff were welcoming and seemed genuinely to want us to be comfortable.

The mattress was the only thing that le the side down. Not terrible but one night was enough.

The location is close to the train station - good access to Eurostar. The staff are friendly and helpful- they can speak English. They also have a tiny lift which is a plus if you have heavy luggage! Room was basic but had everything we needed- we did ask for a kettle from reception. They also let us check in a little earlier.

Would be nice to have some facial tissues and seperate body wash, shampoo. There was no conditioner.

The room was lovely -- exactly as described, plenty of space for a family of three. Spacious bathroom. It was useful to have a mini-kitchen with a fridge, and properly functioning Wi-Fi was a great benefit. I particularly enjoyed the 'pod' coffee machine in the room, which I recommend to all hotels!

The sink was clogged much of the time, which was the only problem -- otherwise there was nothing at all to complain about! I recommend the hotel.

We love the view from the room we always stay in and the little balcony,also the old typically Parisian lift and winding staircase,the decor of the rooms are also more traditional than modern,which we love,it’s a great location to get to everything,WiFi is excellent and also having access to Netflix,the staff are always amazing with us,and we come back every year,always if possible in the same room,we love it here ❤️❤️❤️,we would love it if you could let us know when you are open for bookings next June 🙏🏻

The balcony floor could do with a lick of paint,that’s all I can think of,this place has always been wonderful with us for the last four years we have come,we can’t wait to return next year ❤️❤️❤️

Super close to the Gare de l’Est, small hotel with very nice, very helpful staff. Located at a busy intersection, still, our room (2nd floor) was very quiet. Clean and modern bath, nicely designed room. Not really big – but that’s not what we were looking for. Shopping and bars just a few steps from the hotel. Would definitely book again.

There was a bathtub (*that* was unexpected!), but no shower curtain, so taking a shower took some contortion to not get the bath all wet. An electric kettle would have been nice, but you don’t get that in France often anyways, so, a minor quibble.

the hotel was centre of metro line and near the gard el est station. bus stop was front of hotel. if you prefer walk you can run.The hotel was a hub for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation options. Guests could quickly hop on the metro or catch a bus right outside the hotel. For those who enjoyed a leisurely stroll, the bustling streets and vibrant energy of the city were just a short walk away.

I stayed at the hotel for 5 days, and unfortunately, the sheets weren't changed during my stay. I informed reception to have them replaced.
