The room was very well designed for a solo traveler, it was a single bed and very little space beyond that. It was very clean, modern, quiet and everything worked well. I did not opt for the breakfast so I cannot comment. The neighborhood was quite convenient and charming with the canal two blocks to the right as you leave the hotel. To the left, the train station was not very far, but it was not a very touristic area. It felt functional and safe, but not a place to spend time.

With such a modern room, I would have liked to have had USB outlets available for charging devices. As it was, I did bring my own so I was not inconvenienced, but perhaps they can be included in the future.

Great location with near by cafes

Very well located hotel for anyone passing through Paris using Gare de l'Est or Gare du Nord. Reception staff were very friendly. My room was great, I felt safe walking around the area and the breakfast was great. The hotel stored my luggage for me, and the check-in time is 2pm, so earlier than most other hotels (and my room was available early).

As stated in other reviews - the lift is a bit strange. I opted to use the stairs instead. The corridors are narrow, but my room was a good size, and that matters more.

The staff were super friendly, helpful, and amazing. The location near the train station was perfect. The facilities were clean and there was daily cleaning. We asked for an iron, and we got it. We got extra coffee when we requested it.

There are a lot of vagrants at night who were noisy and scary. We did not feel safe walking in the neighbourhood at night. It was hard to sleep with the noise in the street. There was no fan, which forced us to open the windows as it was hot, but that meant the outside noise was loud

Catching train at Gare de L.est the next day. This has everything you need for travelling and is five minutes from L'est. Single room big enough with important kettle to brew, hairdryer. Good breakfast. Staff very helpful. The safe didn't work but apart from that this was excellent for my requirements. Don't miss the canal area at the end of Recollect for another area of Paris.

Receptionists were very friendly and welcoming! Breakfast was also very good and worth it. Location was near the train station too.

The location could be bit sketchy esp at night, with many black people around the corner if you arrive late at night. So make sure you get home before sunset (9pm). Also, the rooms were too small, not enough space to open big luggages on the floor.

I recommend this hotel if you are planing your trip to Paris on budget. The room was clean but small, the bathroom was surprisingly clean and the breakfast was not great, not bad.

I don’t know why but i heard along my stay different noises from the street, I suppose. Also a big minus is that you heard if your neighbor is doing a shower

This was the second time I stayed in this hotel. I came back because of the friendliness of the reception staff, the comfy bed, good shower and perfect location for me. However, the second time, it was the Fete de la Musique (when all hell breaks loose in Paris.) It wasn't such a great night because of unbearable noise. Also the price had almost doubled because of the Fete.

The rooms are really clean and comfy, but the entrance and foyer need a bit of TLC. It looks quite shabby from the outside and the foyer has seen better days. This in no way detracts from the friendly welcome, but it wouldn't cost much to give it a lick of paint.

Room was small but not cramped. It was clean and modern. The location was amazing for what we needed. The front desk was fast and friendly. Wi-Fi was good. Shower was nice. Bed was comfy. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for.

Little noisy on the street with the window open but when we closed it, no problem. Otherwise all good.

The staff were pleasant and very helpful, the room was clean and cleaned every day, the breakfast was very good, everything was available and the attendant was helpful, it was comfortable and in a good position for the train stations and all of the attraction, s, in a safe area.
