The hotel was way more our expectations! We were a 3 people group and initially expected a small bedroom with 3 beds. Instead of that, we got a 2 rooms bedroom, with plenty of space and great view to Paris buildings. The staff is very polite. Huge plus that there is a 24/7 open reception. Value for money choice in Paris. The hotel is 5-10mins walk from 2 very central metro stations and it was easy to navigate all day round.

The breakfast was more poor than expected and not recommended for vegans (no options at all). The location - the neighborhood where the hotel is located seems a bit dangerous. We didn’t face a danger, but we didn’t feel safe at all times

Close to the railway stations, which is a good option if you indend to travel around, also easy to get from the CDG airport. Non stop reception, kind personnel. Access from a main road.

Walking to/from the hotel area in late evening or at night might be a bit challenging. The area is marked as relatively safe, however one might feel a bit insecure as you will probably have to pass through sometimes large groups of youngsters, listening to loud music in the street. I would think twice before advising my daughter to go there alone or with some friend...

The location was very good, a walking distance from some tourist attractions (20min to sacre-coeur, 25min to opera garnier, etc). Also very close to metro stations and bus stops. The room was very clean, no smells, comfortable bed and fresh sheets. Everyday we got a bottle of water each, coffee/tea restocked. We never used the TV. Heating working well. The shower was just amazing, as I like the water flow to be strong. The staff was polite and helpful.

Not that it affected much out stay, but observed 3 things: 1) It was quite noisy in the bedroom as you could hear all conversations from the corridor, especially in the morning time, noises from cleaning/moving furniture. But otherwise no noise from the street. 2) The bedroom was very small, for example, we only had one small hand luggage each and we couldn't open both on the floor as there was no espace, just enough for one to walk around the bed. 3) The shower was amazing, but the bathtub felt quite unsafe as there were no handles to help you get in or out and I almost slipped - so I wouldn't recommend to an old person.

The bed was big enough for me, comfortable and the pillows were okay too. I love the location of Est Hotel because of its proximity to the Gare L’est. Friendly staff and attentive. I like that I can leave my luggage before my departure in the evening.

I could hear other guests beside my room. The doors are loud to close and to lock, the bathroom was nice, small and clean but the toilet is not properly installed. It seems like there is a loose screw. The toilet paper holder is wrongly placed, the toilet paper falls down when you pull it.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

No kettle in room and staff didn’t tell us there was a hot water machine downstairs.

Hotel itself lovely, staff very helpful and welcoming. Not close to any main attractions, further away than I thought but there is plenty of train stations and busses close by.

Bathroom tiny, sewage smell occasionally in my room, no bar fridge (I had one at another hotel I stayed at similar to EST HOTEL) which is why I mentioned it. No aircon but did have a fan if you wanted to use it, I would open the balcony doors in the morning for fresh air.

The hotel is nice and with a very nice reception team. The location is super. Nearby there are restaurants, bakeries, shops, pharmacy, public transport stop. I personally got around on foot. Our room was a normal size. Bright, facing a patio, but nice. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom clean. It was super that we could leave our luggage if we needed after leaving the room. Would recommend and would stay again!

The door to the room was not well insulated and there was a lot of noise in the hallway. It wasn't a problem because as we didn't have noisy neighbours. Our room had a bathtub, for me this was not very comfortable for bathing. I didn't have a problem, but I share if it's important to someone. I share these details if they are useful to anyone. Otherwise 10 out of 10 for the hotel :)) I would visit again and highly recommend

The room and bathroom were clean. Shower pressure was good. Heating was good. Closed to train station. Kettle, coffee/tea/biscuit in the room. Love it! The Staff were friendly. There's lift facility. The breakfast was excellent. For EUR9, it's value for money for sure. Free luggage storage and there's toilet there too! I left my luggage there after checking out and I could use the toilet before heading to the train station.

I would like to give this hotel a 10, but I wasn't comfortable with the neighborhood, sorry. This is a personal opinion from a female solo traveler. Otherwise, it's perfect!

You get what you pay for: a clean and comfortable room, nothing more, nothing less.

The doors were all quite loud and badly noise insulated and since my single room was so small, my bed was right next to the door. So everyone at my corridor leaving or arriving woke me up...

I was travelling alone for work and booked a late check-in as I was on a late flight. I arrived and was delighted to find reception was manned for 24 hours. Check-in was fast and I made my way to my room on the fourth floor. I booked a single room but was delighted to find I had a much larger room than expected. The reviews had read prior to travelling led me to believe that I would have minimal facilities in the room but there was tea and coffee making facilities and soap by the sink and in the shower. The room was perfectly clean, there were plenty of towels and a good choice of food at breakfast (no cooked option unless you boiled an egg). Staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel was really well located for my meeting. There is a metro station at the top of the road and there is no change necessary to get to the Champs Elysees and do the touristy sightseeing. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and although not on the most desirable street, I felt perfectly safe walking around during the day and evening. There was some street noise that could be heard in the room and there's quite a lot of passing traffic but it didn't interrupt my sleep. I think this hotel is great value for money and I would definitely return.

The night receptionist wasn't particularly welcoming on arrival although he did warm to me during my stay. You must leave your key when you exit the hotel and there was sometimes a wait to retrieve it when returning if reception was busy.
