Hotel is located right next to a bus and metro station and has plenty of restaurants, bakeries, and laundry facilities near by. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the AC was very strong and more adjustable then most European hotels I've stayed in. The hotel also offered a place where we could fill our water bottles with ice and water-- an absolute game changer in the middle of summer.

The elevator up to our room was tiny, it can really only fit one person at a time and is a bit claustrophobic (there are stairs for those who want to avoid it).

The hotel is small but the quality of the room and the staff make it a perfect stay in Paris no matter how long your stay is. The location is great and you can find everything within a short distance. There are several restaurant options and even an amazing barber shop next door. The room is cozy and brand new, although small, but not too bad for Paris. The breakfast is abundant with a few delicious options. We were blessed by the hotel that provided us with a late checkout so we could wait for our flight. I strongly recommend this Hotel and we would return.

We liked pretty much everything about the Hotel and the only thing I could point out would be only one morning there was no bacon, but it was not a huge issue.

It was close to gare de l'est which made our onward travel very easy. Also it's close to the 1ere arrondissement making it easy for us to complete our business errands.

We had to go back to reception in person for the towels even though they could have told us we needed that and we could have taken them as we went to the room the first time

Staff were very helpful and friendly we speak no French and they were very polite to us. Room fitted our needs, very small but fine for what we needed.

The room was clean and tidy if I was being picky it could certainly do with some touch up on the paint but that's only because its clearly an old build and old rooms.

Staff was very helpful and friendly In particular the girl at check in (Manel) was extremely helpful answering my many questions. Oumare who worked in the breakfast nook was very kind and helpful. To the point that when we ran into him in the street, he remembered us and said "hello" first. When I told him we were looking for a restaurant to eat at he tried to explain in his limited English (my french was even worse) and seeing I was confused, offered to walk us to the restaurant, even though it was the opposite direction he was walking. Staff like these two are EXCEPTIONAL! I was so impressed that upon check out I had to inquire about their names so I could give them the credit they are due. I suspect many others have done the same. I would appreciate if you could pass on my "thank you" to both of them. People like that are what makes a stay much better than average, so thanks to both!

Thought the breakfast buffet was pricey but Canadian standards, but this IS Paris.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location, room had everything required for a short stay.

No kettle/coffee/tea in the room although hot water was available at reception for free and hot drinks available for a fee. Busy area so quite noisy through the night if window opened for fresh air.

Everything except size of lift and foyer

Size of lift. I booked over a year before because of availability for the Olympics but found I could have had the rooms cheaper nearer the event which was disappointing.

Short stay, the provided good respite. Would have liked a kettle and some af militias in the room but otherwise it was perfect for a short stay in Paris and especially since we were travelling by train. Stations nord and est within easy walking foayance

Conveniently located. Within walking distance of the station which was a relief after our train was delayed by over 3 hours, which meant that we arrived much later than planned.

A maze of corridors and doors, none of which seemed to be labelled. The lift was very small.

WE liked the situation being close to the Gare du Nord and Gare de l'est. The beds were very comfortable. The receptionists were very helpful and nice people

The only reservations we had are to do with the location of the rooms, through the courtyard and the lift being so small however that has to be considered in line with age and location of the building. We suggest anyone with mobility difficulties let the hotel know.
