The staff welcomed us warmly and provided a map showing key landmarks and transport routes, which made moving around the city easier. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, very clean bathroom, and good lighting. Amenities included a coffee maker, kettle, and mini fridge, which made the stay more convenient and pleasant. The hotel had a lift, making it easy to carry large luggage. Excellent location near the École Militaire metro and bus station, which made it simple to reach different parts of Paris. Right next door was a Carrefour supermarket with a wide range of food and drinks, and nearby we found bakeries offering traditional French bread and excellent cafés. Walkability was excellent: just minutes from the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars, Hôtel des Invalides, and Rodin Museum.

Nothing significant to mention; overall the stay was very positive.

This was our first stay in Paris, and I selected this hotel for the central location (Not far from the Eiffel Tower) and value. The room was tiny, but we absolutely loved the balcony. Since we planned on spending the bulk of our Paris visit seeing the city, this was perfect for what we wanted, a good place to sleep, shower and take a nap

I was surprised at check out getting charged for the 2 times we had the continental breakfast. I can't recall reading in the guest guide in the room that this was extra. I don't think it indicated that, but I may be wrong. The breakfasts were adequate, and worth the extra, but perhaps knowing up front would be good.

The hotel is charming. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast and thought it was a great value. The room was comfortable and the area is quiet at night. The elevator is small, but we used the stairs most of the time and that worked out well. I love the location - there are stores for groceries, a variety of restaurants, and a convenient metro station near by. It is a pleasant area to walk around in.

The elevator is really small - just big enough for one person and a suitcase, or two people - but this is totally fine. Just take the stairs after you put your suitcase in your hotel room. Or use the elevator and know it's a snug fit for a few minutes.

Clean, great noise isolation windows, blackout curtains. Comfortable bed. Nice service. Super location. We fell in love with the elevator. It is super tiny and we had lot of fun using it. Some people might not like it, but for us it was lovely.

It is subjective point of view, for someone my minus might be nothing: Very poor breakfast. A couple of salamies, one type of cheese, two types of pastries. Though everything was tasty and fresh. Eggs were ready at 7:40, though breakfast starts at 7. They propose choice boiled or fried, but they have only boiled. 12 euro pp.

Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, the room had reasonable blackout curtains. The heating was easy to control and so we were able the set the right temperature in the room. Two decent windows in the room let lots of light. We had room 404 so was up high and looked onto those typical French roofs which was nice. We did not spend a lot of time in the room so can’t report on the TV or entertainment. Staff were very attentive and super helpful.

It’s a pretty basic hotel with no frills. The room is compact. The elevator is very small so if you are claustrophobic and get a room on the upper levels you will struggle.

Excellent value taking into consideration the location. Easily in walking distance to Eiffel Tower.(10 mins) Lots of restaurants nearby within 2-10 mins walk. Very clean. Rooms small but plenty big enough for a couple. Lovely bathroom. Warm cosy room though no view from our room on the 2nd floor. Staff very attentive and ready to help. Didn’t try the breakfast as too late waking but lovely fresh pastries, fruit and freshly squeezed orange juice literally next door. Tea, coffee available in the room. Also has a fridge. Carrefore supermarket nevt door file anything you may need.

No sugar or milk supplied in rooms. No shampoo/conditioner but hand soap is supplied.

Excellent location for public transport with the Ecole Militaire tube station just outside ( only 2 stops to RER trains) and excellent supermarket next door. The hotel is also a few minutes walk to Rue Cler which has excellent restaurants which don't have to be booked. The parking spaces on the road are free after 7pm until 9am and the Cambronne car park ( 20 minute walk away) was excellent value at around 17 Euros per day ( advertised as a discounted rate). It was not possible to book the parking in advance during the Olympics but there were plenty of spaces. Like others we found the staff most helpful.

We were only on the second floor so were able to avoid using the lift which is small . A minor downside for us.

When it said "view of the Eiffel Tower", we were not expecting a full, unobstructed, perfect view. It was so perfect. Watching her sparkle every night is something I will never forget. The metro stop was right outside our door. The neighborhood was alive, yet safe. Great restaurants around every corner + a market right downstairs.

The 7 story walk up to the room was a little rough, but worth it for the view. I didn't think to look to see if the hotel had an elevator.

Hotel Royal Phare has an EXCELLENT location in the 7th surrounded by restaurants, bakeries, and key sights like the Eiffel, Rue Cler, and Invalides. While we didn't spend much time in our room, it met all of our basic needs and was clean.

Given that this is a 3-star hotel, I went in with my expectations appropriate adjusted and so it really did meet all my expectations! The room was quite cozy, which we were aware of beforehand, but we made due with the space. We got a complimentary upgrade to a room with a balcony, which really enhanced our stay as we could sit outside to eat and chat. The location was absolutely perfect right by the Ecole Militaire metro and bus stops.

We had a great room on the 6th floor with a view of the Eiffel Tower. There was a small lift in the hotel but the stairs weren’t too difficult. The room was very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was very clean and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The location of hotel was perfect - there is a metro station outside the front door, a supermarket next door and a good selection of restaurants and cafes around the hotel that open early and close late. You can walk to the Hotel de Invalides and the Eiffel Tower within 10/15minutes.
