Where do I begin? I mean, when you visit Paris the week before the Opening Ceremony for the Paris Olympics 2024, there are so many things that go into play. I researched and researched on places to stay and as you all know in this day and age, there is a plethora of bombardments of posts related to "The Best Hotels to Stay at in Paris" or "Do Not Stay in The 7th Arrondissement of Paris!" I could go on and on, and everyone's travel "needs" and desires are unique and what may be the "best" for one might be the "worse" for another. So with all that said, I absolutely loved the Cler Hotel. Yes, the location may not be the most "ideal" for some, but for me it was perfect! I mean, it was during the Olympics that we stayed so of course my review may not be a clear, 100% indication of what this area is like during "regular" non-Olympics times but the Cler Hotel definitely went above and beyond to make sure my stay was the best it could be. The rooms, albeit a little "small" but hey, you are on vacation, right! And for me, I do not need a huge living space like home when traveling so as long as I have the bare essentials of comfortable bed, hot shower, and a little extra like the comfort of A/C, then I'm set! And this is what the Cler Hotel had. After returning each night after exploring the city, I got an amazing nice rest and felt rejuvenated the next morning because of the comfortable beds, nice showers, and the coolness of the room from the A/C. The location for me was perfect! I loved that "traditional" Paris-street feel that the Cler Hotel was on with restaurants galore, supermarkets abundant, fruit stands here and there, bread shops and a post office too! And of course souveniir shops! So all in all, the Cler Hotel worked perfect for me.
I was hoping the breakfast could have been a little bit more varied here and there. I mean, don't get me wrong, for me the breakfast was definitely "reminiscent" of home but I was hoping for possibly a few more different options throughout the time we stayed. I did enjoy the breakfast though; I mean it! It is definitely a good breakfast and I hope next time we are around in Paris and stay at the Cler Hotel, the breakfast can be even better.

Location is 100% perfect. Metro is really close, most of the city sight are in 20-30 min walk distance. A lot of breakfast/lunch options around. Very friendly staff!
Bed sheets might to be newer. First night deposit (that is hold on you credit card) will be unblocked after your check-out (in my case it was 30 days after charge) and it doesn't apply as a part of entire payment. So just take a notice that you would pay for your entire stay + 1 night deposit that will hold out on your bank account. Also my stay was a bit overpriced, but the Eiffel Tower view compensated it completely.

The Cler Hotel is situated in the most absolute best part of Paris. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower, plentiful options of great restaurants, bakeries and from the time you walk out of the hotel the fresh produce along the streets is a bonus. The area is extremely clean and at no time did we feel unsafe. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and would like to give extra Kudos to Mr. Basith who was very helpful in every way especially with his knowledge of the city. If any future trips are made in Paris I would plan my trip around the availability of a room at the Cler Hotel.

The Cler Hotel is located on Rue Cler in the heart of the 7th arrondissement of Paris. It is only a couple of blocks to the nearest Metro stop and a few blocks more in the other direction to the Champs de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. Rue Clear itself is a wonderful street with market stalls, tons of cafes and shops. It is colorful and lively and oh so French. The staff at the Cler Hotel could not have been more accommodating and we even finished up breakfast one day with Francois, the owner, who showed us an album documenting the renovation of the hotel.

The location was perfect as soon as we came out of the hotel we were greeted with the beautiful perfume of fresh fruit and vegetables, pastries and coffees. Wow! Staff were excellent especially Sujit and Basith who went above and beyond to meet our requests.
We were hoping to get a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower as pictured on the promotional material. Rooms were quite small but the location made up for it. The lift was tiny. Be careful about using large suitcases it will take some manoeuvering on your part to get your self and luggage to your room. The cooling needs to improve as we were told that it was centrally controlled and limited to 22 degrees Celsius which was a bit uncomfortable on a warm night.

Location, Location, Location We stayed for a long weekend, from Friday to Monday, and the location was absolutely perfect. It’s an easy walk to the Eiffel Tower making it super convenient to explore. Getting around is a breeze too—Bolt rides are under €15, and public transport is just €2 per person. This part of Paris is beautiful, with stunning architecture that feels grand and impressive—grandiose, if you like to say it in French! That said, the cafés here definitely know how to charge. But if you’re up for a splurge, why not enjoy it? The staff at Cler Hotel were fantastic, especially the receptionists who were so helpful with tips and assistance. The room was small, yes, but it was spotless and well-kept by the cleaning staff, which made all the difference. Small? Sure. But it had plenty of heart!
If I were back in my 20s or even early 30s, I wouldn’t have minded the size of the room at all. It’s cozy, and when you’re younger, you’re probably spending most of your time out exploring anyway! Room size - a small little, little ruby.

Location location location! Perfect location in the heart of paris, a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. The street itself is pedestrianised and full of perfect French cafes and bistros, fruit and veg stalls and bakery’s . The staff were really friendly, we had an issue with the plumbing which got sorted straight away. The rooms are just what you need for a few nights in Paris. It exceeded my expectations in terms of decor and facilities. The shower was really powerful and hot. There is a safe in the room, plenty of mirrors, tea and coffee facilities. Plenty of hanging space. I felt very safe as a female traveller with friends and cannot wait to book again. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris

The location was excellent. Staff were helpful and always available without being intrusive. Gave help about taxis, time to airport, our flights and anything we asked about. We arrived early and left late in day but luggage was securely locked away for us and toilet facilities were available on our return. Comfy bed, tea & coffee, fridge tucked away out of site and clean and modern ensuite.
Our double room was compact but had everything we required. Lift is modern but small so if you are a large build person you may need to use alone! I’m not tiny and wisely and hubby used with our small bags fine.

We picked the hotel with little knowledge of Paris but hit the jackpot!! Rue Cler is the place to be. All you need is right at hand. Couple that with the #69 bus to the Louvre, D'Orsey, and the Latin quarter or a short walk to the incredible Rodin Garden, it all makes you feel you are a true Parisian rather than hiding underground in metro or sitting in a taxi at a traffic jam with the meter running. A morning startup at the corner Artisian Boulangerie with a chocolate croissant like you have never tasted before and an Americano (coffee long) was a must. The Le Petit Clar restaurant just across the narrow street turned out to be the very best for real French food on the entire Rue Cler.
More time and far fewer people...all beyond anyone's control. The hotel staff made it all work!

The location was excellent and in close proximity to the facilities that I needed such as a post office, general store, laundromat, bank ATM and the metro train for transportation. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and always available to me. My room was exceptionally clean and on a daily basis! The view from my window was everything that I imagined. Finding a place to eat wasn't a matter of where, but what I wanted to eat! I had many choices daily. I especially enjoyed the daily fresh fruit that was available right outside my hotel door. Yes, I could live here!
I can't think of a thing that I didn't like! My overall experience was very good!
