Location is excellent. Wonderful neighborhood - safe, convenient and accessible to many attractions that make Paris special. I stayed in a single room facing the courtyard on the second floor. Room is small but had two bright windows, including one in the bathroom. Very clean and well maintained. Tea kettle and a complimentary bottle of water were provided and added a nice welcoming touch. I was very comfortable — I travel light, with only a carryon suitcase and a large tote bag — there was just enough space in the room to accommodate me and what I had. Travelers with large suitcases need to remember there is no lift so be prepared to navigate the narrow staircase and may want to consider booking the larger rooms to have enough space.

Can get a bit noisy in the corridor - can hear doors opening and closing and people shuffling in and out.

Perfect location, a lot of attractions available within a walking distance, hotel is situated near St Dominique Street which is full of shops, cafes and restaurants. There is also a Carrefour down the street open until 23PM. The room was perfectly clean with everyday cleaning service and towels change. We also had a little kettle and few teas and cafes. Despite being located on a busy street, it was very quiet. The staff was very friendly and professional. The hotel was really cosy and nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. We also used the transfer to the airport option at the end of out stay which was very comfortable.

The room and bathroom are tiny - it's perfect for a short stay, but could be tiring for longer stays. We also didn't like the staff wanting to copy our IDs at the arrival - they told us that it is a safety requirement and serves as some kind of deposit. We asked not to do that and they agreed, however it gave us a sense of anxiety upon arrival. We were told that it is a standard procedure, but still it made us feel unsafe.

The location was wonderful, a good view of The Eiffel Tower from the end of the street, a renowned restaurant over the road, a metro stop a few minutes walk away, pharmacy, general store, bakery etc. all close by. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The pillow was the best I've ever had in a hotel. There was a fan for the heat and shutters to keep the sun out etc. so all in all a good stay. I would say that the cleanliness was excellent for a hotel of its type.

We had nothing to complain about. It's not that I didn't like it as I've been to Paris before, so expect things to be small/tight and this was no different. When we opened the bathroom door we would bang the bedside cabinet, when you walk across the end of the bed you have to lean in, so you don't knock the TV off the wall. As I say, it wasn't trouble for us as we know what to expect and I'm just laying it out so that others do know what to expect.

This hotel is exactly as advertised. Very small rooms and no elevator, but who cares when you go to Paris only with small backpack? In Paris everything is super expensive, even the city tax is mad. This hotel is something I could afford and I will go there again if I decide to visit Paris one more time.

This hotel is what it is, if you dont expect much you will be satisfied. But I would add wine glasses to the rooms. Corcscrew is present, but drinking wine from cups feels wrong.

Yes the room is small, but I knew that going in and from previous Paris trip. However that didn’t bother me. It was the no elevator and having to go several flights of stairs after walking all day that I didn’t like at all. The staff was nice. The location you can beat if you like to be near the Eiffel Tower. It’s a seven minute walk and you can see the tower as soon as you turn the corner from the hotel. Location is good.

There is no AC in the room. They gave us a small fan which actually cooled the room down. However I don’t see it working during hot summer days. There is no elevator. We were in the third floor room ten and it was terrible going up the stairs after walking all day. Unless you get a room below don’t stay here. I wouldn’t take my mother to stay here because of the no elevator issue.

The room was so clean, the staff were so friendly and welcoming, the bathroom was sparkling (the cleanest shower I've ever seen), it was in a fantastic location near to the Eiffel Tower, quirky decorations and we felt so safe. The room was really small and I'm sure we booked a twin room, but my daughter and I used the spare bedding in the room to each have bedding and share the double. The shower was beautifully hot, and the added showergel was lovely. Really would recommend, we will be back!

I stayed for one night in Paris to visit a friend that lives near by the Hotel Amélie. The check-in went smoothly, the lady at the counter spoke fluent English. My room was on the second floor, the windows were to the yard which means it was quite silent. As expected it was a very small romm, without any wardrobe to store the clothes. Staying there with two people seems challenging, as a single it was ok. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very small but had everything I need, including fresh boiled eggs. In total a good stay for a reasonable price in walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, the Hotel des Invalides and river Seine in a fully secure part of the city, and not far away from the next Metro station.

The room was quite small. For a single person ok, but for a couple it will be challenging. The bathroom as well is quite small.

The hotel was so cute and eclectic. I love authenticity and this hotel definitely was authentic. It was small but cozy and perfect for the night.

The only thing I have to say is the room was cold with the heat all the way up; however I was warm with the extra comforter provided. Also the steps are steep and narrow not idea if you have very large and heavy luggage.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The place's cleanliness was commendable, making my experience all the more pleasant. The location was excellent, being close to major tourist attractions and the subway/RER C, which made getting around the city convenient.

A significant downside was the poor soundproofing in the rooms, which created some serious noise issues. Getting a good night's sleep was quite challenging due to the noise from neighbouring rooms and the hallway. As a suggestion, it would be beneficial for the night attendant to kindly remind late-night arriving or departing groups of tourists to maintain a quieter atmosphere in the common areas, especially after midnight.

We will stay here again. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was clean, the bed was large and comfy, it was quiet, the breakfast was sufficient, the location was ideal. The value was good for what we paid, given that it is in Paris.

The room and bathroom were small but that is to be expected in Paris for the room rate that we paid for a two star hotel.
