Lyric Hotel Paris Opéra warmly welcomed us with a treat as we were celebrating our anniversary. The location was great--very close to everything we wanted to do in Paris. While we enjoyed the pool, sauna, and steam rooms that were readily available to us, we were sad we didn't budget enough time to utilize them. The high ceiling in our second room (see below). Beds were comfortable, and room got sufficiently dark (blackout curtains!).

Our first room had a somewhat persistent odor from the bathroom area that was strong enough to prompt a request to change rooms, so the front desk accommodated our request to move rooms, which was much better. Unfortunately both showers leaked water into the non-wet area of the bathrooms during every shower taken.

Excellent Service, great walkable location, good hearty breakfast, spotlessly clean. Good value for Paris. Choose room # 203 or 303 for extra corner space. Windows opened in 201. We liked that pool/sauna/steam bath had to be reserved in advance to accommodate everyone. No one hogged the facilities, everyone got a chance to fully enjoy them in peace and quiet.

We chose this hotel BECAUSE it had an indoor pool (and sauna and steam room). Pool was closed for annual cleaning for 4/5 days we were there. Most disappointing. They did notify guests who were doing recent bookings but we booked five months in advance.

Location, rooms clean and well maintained. Shower great. Staff fantastic.

Room was extremely hot.

The room was smaller than expected but still okay for one person. I requested a quiet room and they fulfilled it. Location was good. Just a short walk to most places I wanted to go. Staff was helpful in answering my questions. Only one small issue with the TV service and resolved quickly.

I think breakfast could improve a little more. I understand it's a continental breakfast, but a couple more selections would be great. Hotel rate was high! I paid a little less for a 5 star hotel, with a larger buffet breakfast, in Old Town Prague the week before. Will definitely compare hotel prices more extensively on my next visit to Paris. Yes, I understand it's Paris!

The hotel is in a great location, and every bit a chic boutique hotel. It is stylish and comfortable, a rare combination in our experience and is managed very well. Everything worked beautifully and the staff are friendly and efficient. The little breakfast room provided us with a good breakfast. The spa is a lovely facility, and very restful; a real surprise in the middle of Paris.

The swimming pool is small, but we didn’t expect it to be much bigger than it is, and in the whole, the spa was lovely.

The pool area was great and it has a super relaxing environment. Location was also good - it felt safe, clean and lots of food options around. It is also close to Le Marais which is another good area for shopping and restaurants. The room also had a small balcony overlooking at the street which had a very Parisian look and feel. Free water, a coffee machine and a mini fridge available at the room. This always comes in handy.

Everything was great.

Rooms are nice and cool. Rooms are good sized, walking distance to several metro stations and the Palais Garnier. Wife used sauna and she liked it.

Restaurant variety around the hotel is limited. If you like Asian cuisine there are many options. Shower in the room could be more up to date. It is a tub with a handheld and the tub is very slippery. Should have same outlets on each side of bed. Only one side had power outlet.

Very good hotel and amazing staff with a perfect location in paris and near the metro. Breakfast could be more supplied and better replacement of food but nothing too bad.

Only point I would make to improve would be that there was no cold airconditioning in our room because the whole building was in hot aircon, this makes no sense as you have to have the same temp as everyone else. We had to have the window opened the whole stay with the noise of the other aircon machine the whole night so that is my only negative point of the hotel. Other than that, very good value for money hotel.

Great boutique hotel located in the great area with lots of restaurants, cafes, small authentic shops etc. My bed and bedding were just awesome, the style of the room was very unique and cool. Breakfast was really good with good quality products! Thank you very much!

The basin in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient to use, the water was splashing on the floor and everywhere :) but it is a small detail. I was really enjoying my time at the hotel.

Location is great. Well kept, tasteful decor. Rooms clean, lovely toiletries, comfortable bedding. Great bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Not a dislike at all, but did not have breakfast there as had plenty of time to wander to a cafe terrasse (great location for it if you have the time) I’m sure very useful for a business trip.
