A light modern room with double bed and connecting bathroom with shower and toilet. There is also a balcony overlooking the garden and a kettle in the room. Breakfast was excellent with homemade patisseries and confiture. Our hostess made us very welcome during our 2 night stay. We enjoyed visiting the coastal town of Collioure, south of Perpignan for beaches and evening meals. We also visited the historic chateau of Peyrepertuse, one of the Cathar Castles to the west of Perpignan, which was amazing.

As we were travelling around the south of France, it would have been good to have access to a fridge.

Room had balcony and was presented in an original and individual way - as was all of the property which is located in a quiet residential area.. Breakfast was similarly personalised with lots of home made elements. If you've got an early morning flight it's only a short drive to Perpignan airport. Providing we could get an en-suite room we'd happily come back here.

We'd formed the impression that our room was en-suite which it wasn't. Luckily due to under-occupancy the adjoining bathroom could be curtained off for our personal use. The charming owner wasn't onsite that night so we couldn't top up our milk or borrow a corkscrew which was again unexpected.

The place was very clean and welcoming, the owner was delightful and given that we speak little or no French very helpful and understanding. She recommended an excellent local restaurant and made a booking for us. The breakfast was something else - home made pastries and preserves plus omelettes made from eggs laid by her chickens - wonderful!

A very, very minor point: we were hoping for secure parking which wasn’t available. But as the property was located in a quiet residential area this wasn’t really a problem. Although our Sat Nav got very confused when trying to take us there!

Inter room noise could be an issue if other guests were inconsiderate as we heard them using the bathroom in the night and in the morning but nothing else. The owners have a dog and a cat and again this could be a problem if you have issues with either species. The location is in the middle of a housing estate and was uninspiring but as above it was close to a few food outlets and a really good tapas restaurant which we made use of on the evening of our arrival.

Nothing to complain about

The owners are delightful, and offer comfortable, clean accommodation in a quiet location. We were traveling with 2 large motorbikes both of which found secure parking within the property. We received answers to all our questions regarding local food and transportation. It’s possible to order food/drinks to eat on the premises. Breakfast was excellent with lots of home made produce. Reccomended.

The accommodation was in the quiet area of the town. The parking is on the street in front of the house. Our room was on the second floor with the bathroom just next to it. Everything was very clean. The room had a TV and fold out desk. We had a direct access to a small balcony with a view of the garden and the street. Our host Dorothea was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with a good selection of food.

Wi Fi didn't work.

Charming home, nice suburb, parking, quiet. Home made breakfasts. Very clean and orderly, well organized. Hostess friendly and helpful.

The room is in a private home which was not clear to me from the description.It has an en suite bathroom but it is not a separate apartment. There is a tiny balcony but not much space otherwise. Great value though.

This is a lovely private house. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. The hostess can’t do enough for you and is very kind. The breakfast is lovely with plenty of variety and if you are lucky, some home made baking. The electric shutters meant that the room was very dark and I slept like a log.

If you wanted to get something to eat in the evening, it’s a bit of a walk but that is a minor quibble.

The proprietor Dorothy was lovely she went above and beyond. Our room and facilities were good . Everything was very clean . We couldn't stay for breakfast as we had a very early start kindly Dorothy packed us off with some cake that was absolutely delicious!

Perhaps a hairdryer in the room but other than that everything was great
