Beautiful boutique hotel in a wonderful setting. The hotel is within the grounds of a winery, with a restaurant, pool, spa and lovely ancient chapel all within the premises. The rooms were gorgeous including great air conditioning and a coffee machine. We spent time relaxing by the pool which was as very nice and had a jacuzzi too. We had booked a table in advance at the Michelin starred restaurant, the ambience, food and service were all outstanding. We went for the 6 course tasting menu (€120pp) with wine pairing (€75)and every dish was exceptional. The beautiful town of Pezenas was only a few minutes drive away…..cobbled streets, castle, restaurants and shops galore and a great market on a Saturday morning. By far the best place we stayed on our trip around Provence and the Luberon.

Being given the disabled access room. Whilst the room itself was very nice was definitely a good option if you have mobility issues……it opened into the reception area of the hotel so there was a bit of a lack of privacy. But as we were only there one night and being British we didn’t like to complain!

Les Chambres du Prieure is a slice of heaven in the countryside. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional...the spacious light filled room, lovely bath products, the helpfulness of the staff (merci Colline and Marie Laure), the peace and beauty of the grounds and pool area and the generous breakfast served in the garden. One of us also booked a private massage which was exceptional as well. We had stayed here the previous year and returned for longer this time, we love it so much!

Adored absolutely everything about this wonderful hotel. It is filled with lovely historic details and updated with contemporary aesthetic. There is a beautiful garden with charming seating areas tucked in amongst the trees. The pool area is spacious, peaceful and well appointed. All staff were gracious and helpful. The breakfast is fresh, delicious and generous. A peaceful oasis, yet only 5 minutes drive to Pezenas. Completely exceeded our expectations!

Beautiful building, lovely grounds and swimming pool, welcoming and attentive staff. The room was large, clean and comfortable.

The breakfasts although nicely served were not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The pastries were billed as "cooked on the premises" but clearly by a commie-chef. The bread rolls were hard and the "croissants" were stodgy and were nothing like the beautiful, light, flaky croissants we are used to. The Michelin starred restaurant also suffered from that frequent Michelin star failing of style over substance. The only choice was between a 4 or 6 course "tasting menu" dictated by the chef. It was quite nice, but for the price, I would have preferred to have some choice of dishes.

Beautiful property. We truly enjoyed the room and surroundings.

Our room had lights that weren’t dimmable and there was no other lamps. Overall not a big deal but would prefer lighting options. Our friends rooms had wall sconces and lamps so we were just the odd ones out.

Beautiful historic building, sympathetically restored. Beautiful grounds and pool. Spacious room and aircon. Really comfortable bed (rare!)

It was all excellent - the hot tub can be rather noisy by the pool if used excessively but that’s a minor detail.

Amazing staff! Friendly, helpful, attentive. The tranquil setting, pool and gorgeous building created an amazing and comfortable atmosphere. The staff arranged dining at the adjoining restaurant as well as at a lovely spot in the nearby town of Pezenas. We did a day trip to Carcassonne.

This cozy little Hotel is an absolut treasure! The staff is so friendly and welcoming. They have a Whirlpool you can use whenever you like, a hammam from 4pm-8pm. and an outdoor pool as the Spatreatment. Dogs are more than welcome and really nicely treated. The Breakfast is to die for and TOTALLY worth the price of 13€ per person!!!

The Hotel restaurant is highly exclusive and you HAVE TO reserve a table in advance. Not really a bad thing - just make sure to book a table beforehand if you wanna dine there. And the ONLY thing that we can think of that was negative was the shower had a sewery smell - we were in Room 9

The beauty of this property cannot be overstated. We were stunned by the peace and serenity of the property and its facilities. We felt like we stumbled upon an exotic hotel and spa retreat (pool, jacuzzi, lounge and meditation areas) in the South of France countryside! The staff, room, decor, facilities, breakfast, etc. were all high end - beautiful! We will be back!

Beautiful place in the vicinity of Pézenas. Small hotel but stunning. Beautiful garden with pool and spa. Real quiet. Don’t forget the book a table in the Michelin star restaurant of Chef Lauzun and visit the charming village of Pezenas.
