Central situation . Lovely old , stone built hotel been brought more up to date since I stayed there years ago. Can't fault the buffet breakfast with proper pot of coffee , not push button machine. .

At reception I was told you had booked me two rooms -- for 1 person ? - the lady spoke no English so it was difficult to explain it was your fault . Showing her my booking reservation resolved the matter . The breakfast staff was lovely but again , no English , my poor French sufficed.

Well the room rate in late April was 64.00 on booking.com and 10 for offsite parking which was great . However we travel all over with our little dog and if there is a pet fee it 5- 10 euros. We had asked but never received a response and at check in they demanded 20 euros. Ridiculous for a 64 room. It was a tourist scam, they didn’t tell us a price in advance of booking so they just screwed us at check in. We would strongly urge you to stay elsewhere as we heard others having issues at checkout regarding overpriced breakfast buffet. I haven’t encountered this problem in France before, It’s super common in Greece and Italy. Very disappointing, otherwise we would have probably visited again.

Fabulous old hotel particulaire but with spacious clean modern bedrooms. Great location. Surprisingly quiet and very comfortable. Loved the wrought iron balustrades. Beautiful faded grandeur of this delightful old lady.

Nothing really except it has no lift so accessibility would be a problem potentially also very few staff so sometimes locked up but they will be back in 30 mins so don’t stress just lean onto the French way of life

The room was way bigger than we expected with a walking wardrobe and a spacious bathroom. It also had a balcony where you could see the main square and the life below from the first floor. The staff were attentive and they dealt with all our requests promptly and effectively. We checked in very late at night and we had to call a number to get the access code. Once in, everything we needed was inside an envelope with our name on the reception desk. The check in was at 12pm which was great as we could go for a walk and return for our things. You can book a private parking space for £9 but there is plenty of free parking on the street. The village is very pretty and there are plenty of restaurants and shops at walking distance. You could use it as a base to explore the surrounding area and vineyards. Great value for money.

I was able to have my normal breakfast of berries, natural yoghurt and toast with the addition of a crossaint. There were many options, not sure about a "full Enlish" as I didn't ask.

I was there during VE day and it was very quiet, the staff were not readily available but I had the code to access the main entrance and didn't require any further attention. Some newcomers were assisted in checking in.

The reception was very helpful. We chose the hotel as it wasn't a chain, realising that that could mean there wasn't 24 hour reception on site. Because of traffic we realised we would arrive late. So we called. And the receptionist kindly gave us a code and prepared the key for us in an envelope. We had the studio for the five of us (myself and four kids). It was big and comfortable. Breakfast was nice too. Especially the fruit salad.

Our welcome was great receptionist helpful. Location perfect right in centre of old town. Easy walk to shops and restaurants.

WiFi intermittent, pillows need refurbished. Extractor in bathroom not working. On departure very grumpy and non customer focused receptionist. Made us feel we weren’t a welcome guest. Sad after such a great welcome on arrival. Not a great ambassador for this hotel.

A fantastic hotel in a stunning building. We arrived late and managed to get access by calling the out of hours number despite language barriers. The room was huge, the bathroom was great with an awesome shower and the beds very comfy. Parking is available just over the road but it's first come first served. The hotel is on the edge of the town centre, which was a delight. We would happily stay again.

The proximity to the old town, right near the Main Street and restaurants and the style of hotel inside. The breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the ambiance and history of the hotel.

The parking is about 300m by foot to return after dropping car. That’s not a problem if you don’t mind walking which we do, however I imagine that would not suit the less active.

I’ve already given stellar reviews because I stay frequently. My pic is from the bus stop from Pézenas to Meze and to Montpellier. So easy. Bus usually leaves on the hour to Montpellier except Sunday. It only costs two euros and has a place to store luggage underneath the bus. Gorgeous scenery. You can just buy your ticket on the bus. Takes you to the FLIX and tram stop. Sabines.
