Located on the edge of the historic town core (reached across a footbridge) this hotel is a good base to explore the town and as a place to break a journey on the A75. On site parking seemed to be only just about enough for the hotel, but was good to have. The welcome was good with English spoken by many of the staff. We were upgraded to a suite that included a kitchenette. The room air-con worked ok-ish. The hotel restaurant calls itself a bistro, but the quality and presentation of the food was excellent, especially when accompanied with a local Pezenas red wine. The buffet breakfast was good - once you had located where everything was laid out. We did not use it, but the pool and surrounds looked nice.

No more than a personal niggle, but as a former distillery I was expecting to see rather more reference to the previous use of the building.

The room was spacious, bed was large and very comfortable and there was every facility you could want. Breakfast was more than adequate but the dinner was exceptional quality ! Only spent the one day there but will be back again soon .

Not a lot but maybe there could have a simple street map of the street structure of the town available in the lobby as the town is a complex network of narrow streets which are difficult for visitors to navigate.

All of the staff, particularly the owner/manager and Simon, were extremely polite, friendly and helpful the whole week long. Thank you so much for all the help you gave us. Our apt with hot tub was by chance the best and biggest, so that was such a lovely surprise. The view from our balcony was beautiful and just a 2 minute walk to restaurants and shops. The fluffy little cat and friendly, strokable bird at the main entrance were adorable and the hotel is pet friendly which we loved.

The carpets in the halls were quite badly stained and the garden could do with cutting, weeding and tidying up. Offers for the Spa displayed in Reception were in French only and a translation would have been nice. Having said that, we would stay there again if we had the same room (306 I think!) as the apt was beautiful, huge and with a beautiful view.

I've been staying here each year since it opened, and it is good to see that they have recently redecorated the rooms. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. It is very useful to have an area to make coffee and keep some food in the fridge provided. The pool is very welcome to cool down on hot days. Breakfast was good on the days that everything was available, but some mornings both the coffee machines malfunctioned and had to be reset, and the croissants ran out on a couple of mornings.

Sections of the carpets in the hall and landings are stained and starting to look a bit tired. The stuffing/springs of the armchair in the bedroom is in a poor state. The inside of the toilet in our room remain badly stained throughout our stay even though we asked if it could be cleaned.

Lovely 2 bedroomed suite with a huge terrace and hot tub

Just a couple of small things, the dishwasher was out of service, which may have been an issue had we stayed longer. There was no hair dryer. There were three adults in the suite and only 2 mugs for tea/coffee so had to ask for extra again not a huge problem but sometimes its the little things that matter.

We really loved staying at this hotel! It was so peaceful and we had a fantastic nights sleep in a super comfy bed! We were in a suite with a balcony overlooking a vineyard and a beautiful view. An easy walk over the bridge takes you to the stunning old town. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to come back!

Some rotten wood in the bathroom due to the wet room type shower and it could have been a bit cleaner in the shower too. We loved everything else.

The rooms were a nice size. The balcony was exceptional. The facility is very clean and very quiet.

I would suggest the cleaning staff close the drapes on the west side as the room became very hot in the afternoon for guests just checking in. The air conditioning was not set to work because we were early in the season. However the room was very hot when we first checked in and did not cool down until about 2:00 in the morning. The rooms could also have luggage racks available for suitcases.

Great location with free parking. We arrived later than expected due to delayed flight and the lady at reception was brilliant, making sure that we were sorted for dinner before checking into the room. Excellent food and wine served at the hotel bistrot. Nice to have fridge, kettle and microwave in kitchen area.

Would be useful to have washing up liquid, sponge and tea towel provided. Thorough deep cleaning required in some areas (bathroom, corners and skirting boards). The carpet in the room next to where breakfast is served is noticeably stained and I'd suggest replacing it with hardwood or laminate flooring.

The hotel has been redecorated since my last stay before the pandemic and looks clean and fresh. I had a large room with a comfortable bed. There was a good breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately the WiFi is no longer up to speed for use for my work. It is fine for emails but little else. In the past the room used to have its own router but this is no longer the case. If you are working and reliant on good WiFi, then this is not good enough and you may need to look elsewhere. I tethered my laptop to my phone, which gave me vastly superior WiFi. The toilet bowl is stained brown from lack of cleaning over a long period of time and I wouldn't expect this in my own home, so it is disappointing to find it in a hotel of this calibre.

The location was great, so close to the town centre with the bonus of private parking. We were upgraded to a suite, which was a very generous size with all the facilities you could need. Just a five minute stroll into the town centre with numerous cafes and bars nearby.

Only a small issue, but the decor of the room would benefit from a little refreshment.
