Because of a car breakdown my friend and I arrived late at night, long after the hotel reception closed. The hotel provided clear instructions on how to gain entry to first the hotel and then our rooms which worked perfectly and was most welcome after a stressful journey. The rooms exceeded our expectations, the breakfast met our needs entirely and for a two star hotel at a modest price, it certainly punched above its weight. Would we stay there again? Definitely.

Pleasantly surprised for a 2-star hotel, lovely bathroom, decent bed, quite spacious.

When we arrived, we heard a clunking sound, initially every few minutes then quicker. It's related to the air conditioning, which we turned off and it gradually abated. Thanks goodness or it would have kept us awake.

The staff were friendly and the room clean, comfortable and quiet. It is located conveniently for the centre of Royan. The restaurant recommendation (L'Avocette) was very good. The breakfast was good

Secure storage of our bicycles was 10 euros.

Great location near to the centre and beach - supermarket a short walk. Very friendly and helpful including storing my bicycle in the garage (€5 well spent)

Everything! Host where very kind sweet and friendly, they helped me a lot during and before checking in! The room was very confortable Place for dinner amazing!

Parking was a bit of a lottery if you needed to be close but there was a huge amount of building work very close by so it will probably improve.

Really near main atractions, 5 min to go to the training station, quet area.

The breakfast could have offered also some cheese and meat.

we paid extra for the comfort option on room 19 and was disappointed that the waste pipe from the room above passed through our bathroom sadly creating a disturbing running water sound every time the above facilities were used other than this we were very pleased with our stay
