It was available on short notice, very close to Mont St. Michel and wonderfully calm and quiet. Room and bed was comfortable enough. Shared bathroom, which we generally avoid, was clean and neat. We received a shot of the very kind proprietor’s own Calvados (apple brandy) upon arrival. Take small sips 😅 The property has stairs. There are cats. They are very friendly and don’t come into the rooms or upstairs. Breakfast was standard for france but very fresh and lovely and the hot chocolate was excellent. Parking was good, right in front of house. There is a small communal fridge available. The room we stayed in had a window seat for reading 👏😎

We loved this charming B & B, located a couple miles outside a small town in Normandy. It was absolutely charming, lots of room and character, and so peaceful and quaint.

The gentleman who met us and helped us was absolutely gem, but did not speak English (not his fault, I don't speak French either!) so we communicated with Google Translate. He was very kind and helpful, but the woman who worked there (I believe it was his wife) was very curt and gruff, and almost seemed to resent us being there. She did not make us feel welcome at all.

Our check in for this place was supposed to be at 5pm, but the host accepted us as early as 1pm. Christian greeted us with a warm smile and showed us to our room. The bed was very clean and comfy, the blankets were warm, there's even a spare pillow I could use, and the window overlooks the farmfields. The bathroom is shared but we were lucky that we were the only ones staying at his house at that time. There were other guests but I think they were staying at his other houses. The bathroom is huge and it has both the bathtub and a shower. He even turned on the heater there so we could be warm when we shower on our way back from a visit. Being Asian and loved the warmth, Christian was very much happy to provide us with what we need. He turned on the heater which is just right next to my favorite part of the room, the window. It was so cozy, and the perfect place to do my stitching. He even lighted up his fireplace just to keep us warm in the sala while we use the internet. The room includes breakfast which Christian would have prepared everything already. It was nice sharing stories and getting to know other people on the table. The breakfast consists of jams, baguettes, croissants, yogurts, and coffee in a huge bowl sized mug! They said its French tradition! A mini fridge is provided for the guests on the 2nd floor to use. He allowed me to use his kitchen a bit, and even gave us his garden grown lettuce and freshly picked eggs. It was also fun to try his homemade calvados. We loved our stay that we even extended for one more night! Christian has really showed us a true French hospitality, along with Octave (his huge dog), 4 cats, and his horse. -Lj (written in behalf of my partner)

The wifi can't reach the bedroom.

The host was very welcoming. We don't speak French and he doesn't speak English, but we still managed to have a conversation about cats and horses. The breakfast was in his house, very delicious, with cute cats at our feet.

Bed was a little short. While he was extremely pleasant and understanding of children, the lady was not as flexible with them. Had to share bathroom

Unfortunately due to an extended power cut I was unable to follow my usual morning routine but the "patron" did provide a good coffee and lots of extras for breakfast!

The signposting is a bit confusing but once you have gone round the neighbourhood and accidentally bump into the "patron" you were well looked after!

We travelled by car and it was very easy to get to MSM from the property. It was very clean, the hosts were very nice though we didn’t speak the same language :) Also if you’re there - take a minute to enjoy the starry sky!

We recommend to choose the room further from the bathroom - the sound isolation is not perfect, might wake you up at night.

Enjoyed our stay alot. Our host was very welcoming and friendly, also Octave was very nice ;-)! Clean, nice breakfast. I recommend to all.

Very friendly owner, practical facility with everything we needed. The closeness of Mont Saint Michel was big advantage. Very calm place, the breakfast was rich and typical french.

The bathroom door can't be closed. and Internet it doesn't work during we stay 2 night. and only France speaking.
