We booked Arc en Ciel for our 3 days getaway to visit the Mont Saint Michel. There’s no words to describe our satisfaction from this place. A very calm and quiet location (10 min walk from the main station in Pontorson), the house and the interior are made with such a good taste and you can tell that the hosts did it with love. Very comfortable new beds, perfectly clean rooms, all the facilities are new. The breakfast was really delicious with home-made jams from Isabella. They were both super nice and available if we needed something during our stay. Antonio even took us to the bus station with his car when we were leaving. Big thanks to both of them again for the perfect stay and hospitality. We’re looking forward to coming back soon!

1. Isabelle (Hotel Owner/Host) is a Wonder woman. - She serves fresh Crepes every morning. Really helpful and constantly working for her guests, even she offered doing the laundry. If you are in foreign countries, you are a bit confused of, e.g. how to sort trash, etc. She checks immediately what you need and comes to help. (Don't worry about French language. She has a translation gadget (iPhone). You will not have a communication problem, if you don't speak a word in French.) 2. No shoes in the room. - This is always a good sign for cleanliness level. 3. Breakfast - Especially if you are from Germany, you may miss your bread, ham, cheese, müslic, whatever rich breakfast. (When I compare at least over 10 countries in Europe, German breakfast is quite a Feast.) Here, you get a fresh baguette (Seems to be they pick up fresh ones every morning), fresh Crepes, fresh eggs and ham. 4. Bathroom and shower - Comfortable and clean.

1. Internet connection is sometimes not stable, e.g. depending on weather. 2. If you are less than 2 persons, you have a high chance to sit together with other guests for breakfast. (No problem in most cases, but I know this can bother some people.)

The host and hostess were really lovely and smiley and made us feel very welcome. We managed to communicate with our poor French and their limited English. Soooo clean ! Lovely new modern bathroom and shower was amazing. Breakfast was huge, everything you could possibly want crepes baguette cheese ham eggs, jam etc served in a lovely conservatory overlooking the garden.

Everything was perfect. A TV maybe but we were out most of the time.

This was a fabulous room in a beautifully renovated farmhouse. It felt like a small apartment, with two bedrooms and a huge bathroom. The facilities were spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was amazing, with homemade crepes and caramel sauce. The hostess is so kind and welcoming! We felt very comfortable during our stay.

It was quite hot the evening we were there, and having a fan in our room would have been helpful.

It is the lovely house and the holder. The yard has enough place for parking. The room is neat and quiet. The biggest plus is the breakfast, we have to go in hurry for the next distinction in the morning, but still impressed by it. 20 mins to the St.Michel. There are some decent restaurants in a small town.

Wonderful room, recently refurbished, everything was new (furniture, bedding, etc.), very clean. Wonderful hosts made us feel at home, offered teas/coffees all day long, wonderful breakfast in the morning. Quite location, 15 min drive to Mont St Michel (which is a must-see). Highly recommend this place!

Hospitality of hosts was above and beyond. And room facilities for a group of 4 acceded all expectations: two separate rooms, nice interior. Tanks for all!

Beautiful home! Newly renovated home with hardwood floors, huge rooms and new marble bathrooms. Owners were beyond welcoming! Breakfast was wonderful! Highly recommend!

No air conditioning so it was a bit hot in the summertime —even at night.

Owners are adorable, our room was clean and neat, the bathroom is completely new and modern, simply beautiful. We really appreciated breakfast with warm homemade crêpes made as soon as we got there. Perfect

Isabelle and Antonio are excellent kreprs wouldn't hrsitate assisting us in finding solutions for transportation. They are generous and welcoming. The setting is great,vlean and the breakfast is amazing.
