Marisa was an amazing host who looked after us wonderfully and kindly picked us up from the station and drove us in and out of town, booked us in to a wonderful restaurant next door to her property for dinner and made us a delicious breakfast including croissants and home made jam, freshly squeezed orange juice, baguette fruit and cheese . Such a treat !Her garden and home are gorgeous with views of the vines and chateaus from every window. Highly recommended!

We could not have picked a better place to stay. The room is massive, extremely clean and perfumed. It has a gorgeous view to the vineyards with a garden where you can rest and Maryse is simply the best. The breakfast is complete and she allows you to pick many, many options, some of them made by herself. It's 4 minutes by car, 10 by bicycle or 30 walking to St-Emilion. It's strategically located between a dozen wineries which is great for wine lovers. We do want to come back in the future to spend more time in her place.

Marie was very nice. She gave us a warm welcoming, telling us many interesting things about Saint-Emilion. She gave us an excellent breakfast and we felt very welcomed at her beautiful house. The place brings you peace and calmness for a good night rest. Thank you Marie for everything. We enjoyed very much learning from you. We hope to see you again!

The hospitality. We felt at home, pampered, and got the experience of staying in a French home in the countryside. The room was spotless and very big. The views from the windows was mesmerizing. If you're in for some French spirit, then choose to stay here.

I didn't mind but the private bathroom is next to the room and not in the room itself.

Le Clos des Rosiers is a charming guest house in the middle of the vineyards surrounding St. Emilion. Maryse, the owner, was delightful, very thoughtful, creative, and caring in how she hosted her guests. The breakfast was served in her quaint dining room, and among other things, including her homemade morning cake and homemade jam. She was very helpful in obtaining for us last-minute reservations for dinner and directing us to vineyards for wine tasting. We so enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Le Clos des Rosiers to all that are visiting the region.

There was nothing not to like!

Maryse is a wonderful hostess that makes you feel as if you were at home. It was a delight to stay in an old French farmhouse. The house and room are comfortable, the breakfast was very good, especially the homemade cakes and confitures. We also appreciated her making reservations for us.

We enjoyed the kindness and hospitality of our hostess Maryse, our roomy and pretty accommodation and private bathroom, parking on the property (not on a street), the breakfast, and the proximity of this countryside B&B to Saint-Emilion (about a mile from the B&B to a free parking lot just on the perimeter of the town). Maryse was very accommodating of our needs, as she was able to check us in early, and she also let us leave our luggages at her place after check-out so we could complete one last activity in the town.

Beautiful house just outside St Emilion. Beautiful room and a Wonderful breakfast from a very gracious host. We spent an overnight here and very much enjoyed our visit. Easy to drive into St Emilion itself

Very narrow staircase up to the room might not suit some People and not the easiest place to find when you’ve not been there previously

Marie was fantastic. She made arrangements for us to go into town for dinner and reservations for a wine tour. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome, including making a special breakfast cake for us. Her place is beautiful and well worth every dollar we spent. It was such a wonderful, relaxing break in a busy day.
