Everything was beautifully decorated with high end linens and exceptionally clean. The staff was beyond helpful to make sure we had dinner reservations, wine tours at very unique vineyards, etc. The village is historic and cute and the hotel pool was so nice! We spent a lot of time in the village but also went to St Emillion and other little towns. We had a car but there also were taxis we could call, so it was easy. The little town has a bakery/cafe and a small grocery and pharmacy. Absolutely loved it! Valerie and the staff were exceptional!! We had lovely massages at the spa. I recommend booking the rooms with a private terrace. Hope to come back here again!

This is a little gem of a boutique hotel in the village of Montagne in the St Emillion region, surrounded by the vines of Chateaux Bellevue, which says it all. The bedrooms are ultra modern, spacious and well equipped - the beds are very comfortable and the bed linen is fabulous quality - with a freshly laundered padded mat for your precious feet on each side of the super king sized bed. A small 4* hotel that goes the extra mile - with friendly helpful and attentive reception staff. The restaurant is a short walk away in a different building behind the church. The quality of the food is certainly well above typical 4* hotel restaurant fare - a good choice for a special birthday - and truly memorable.

Its a beautiful place and looks on to the vineyards of St.Georges-St.Emilion...incredible! We had a sprawling rooftop terrace with parasol, table and chairs, which was fantastic. Room was large and well appointed. Parking was plentiful and shaded in parts, which helps in 31+ degrees! We had lunch in the restaurant and it was delicious, and very good value for money. An idyllic part of the world and we really did not want to leave :)

Wi-Fi needs to be reconnected with a sign-in every hour. That's about it!

We stayed in the annexe and we loved our room with the terrace onto the garden. The shutters meant we had the best nights sleep. Montagne is a beautiful, friendly village, but for Saint Emilion it is a taxi ride away, but they were very helpful and arrived quickly.

No fresh croissants in the morning, despite there being a Boulangerie in the village. Otherwise, it was great.

A good place. Staff were outstanding. I suspect they might wish for a few more hands when things get busy, but everyone had a 'can-do' attitude, which was appreciated and all were extremely helpful; organising taxis, restaurants, visits and offering advice. It has the air of a place that has recently opened and finding its feet, but I expect it will continue to get better.

Not a question of not liking, but the only thing to be aware of is that if you do not have a car you will need to take taxis and they are busy; very friendly but busy so you may have to wait a bit. That makes sense given location and just something to be aware of.

The restaurant and service was exceptional. The quality of food and menu was superb, some of the best dishes I have ever tasted. The wine, it goes without saying, was fantastic.

Nothing. Previous reviews note the closure of the restaurants on specific days. This is very clear in the room information and online. You won’t go hungry with room service available too.

The property is beautiful and close to saint emilion. We rented bikes and loved riding through the vineyards. We stayed for 4 nights and ate at their dinner restaurant twice. The food and staff were great and accommodating! Picturesque Bordeaux stay!

Better A/C

Beautiful hotel with an amazing view and pool. The room was spacious, clean and felt very luxurious. The best was the dining experience at the restaurant in the evening- it was one of the best meals we have ever had. The breakfast was beautiful and had everything you would want. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. 10/10, we would love to come back!

Lovely peaceful hotel. We had a lovely room with a terrace. Very nice pool and garden where you can relax. Only ten minute drive to St Emilion which is beautiful but busy so it’s nice to go back to the quiet village of Montagne. Staff very nice and friendly. There are two hotel restaurants- one is Michelin- and a very nice other restaurant 3 mins walk away.

Great location near St. Emilion. We had wonderful breakfasts at the hotel. The location was beautiful. The inn is an a restored portion of the village. Top notch rooms. Staff was very helpful with dinner recommendations and made reservations for us. I would definitely stay at AUX DUCS DE SIENNE on my next trip to Bordeaux.
