This is an absolute favorite for us. We stayed there with friends in 2022 prior to hiking over the Pyrenees on the Camino. We were a group of 8. This year my wife and I stayed with them as we followed the Chemin St Jacques in an auto/walking trip. Bernadette & Pascal are superb hosts. She is fluent in French and Spanish. It is located on the Camino at the top of the hill out of town. She provides a hearty breakfast in the French style.

There is nothing to dislike.

Amazing experience. The hotel has beautiful grounds and mountain views. Breakfast was exceptional - homemade yogurt, homemade preserves, meat, eggs, cheese, fresh pastries and more. Owners were extremely welcoming and helpful.

Stunning property, great location for the start of the Camino. Hosts were superb. Marie, thank you for making me a pack lunch to take with me on the day I left at 5.30am, and thank you for coming to bring us back from the town up the very very steep road!! Lovely swimming pool too with lovely views of the mountain. Highly recommend to people looking for a quiet, beautifully kept mountain accommodation.

In the Annex, it got very hot and could really do with air con in the summer. Marie did provide a fan so thank you.

We were welcomed warmly and given all the necessary information to enjoy our stay. We were not walking the Camino but we were given advice about how to enjoy the Camino by taking the car up to La Vierge where we could park and enjoy a great stretch up to the highest point and the French - Spanish border.. Excellent breakfast - homemade yoghurt, apple compote, jams. Also enjoyed a few hours by the lovely pool in beautiful garden setting. We could walk down to the town and back (about 20 minutes each way). There is very reasonably priced stock of beers and soft drinks kept cool in the fridge for guests to purchase (honesty box) and you can also keep a bit of your own picnic stuff in the fridge if you need to. It was really a lovely place to stay.

Great location right on the Camino Frances. Serene with a panoramic view of the hills and valleys. The host Bernadette was gracious and attentive. She made an absolutely fabulous spread for our breakfast- ham & cheese sandwiches, hard boiled eggs, croissants, coffee, tea, homemade yogurt, homemade applesauce, homemade jams, and lots of fruits. We felt so pampered! It was a great way to start our first day on the Camino!

This places is really amazing. Really lovely and heard warming hosts. Comfortabel beds. Spacious room. Really nice shower and swimming pool. The view is amazing. Good breakfast. The hosts know a lot about the region and where really helpful. Hope we will be back one day.

Run by a very friendly French couple, who went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. It is a beautiful home, and I stayed in an upstairs bedroom that had everything I needed. They made a huge breakfast spread that was all locally sourced and AMAZING. What a phenomenal way to start the Camino!

Best yoghurt of the whole trip! Breakfast included all the highlights of a french breakfast. Hosts we so friendly and helpful.

The weather was colder than expected, so we didn't get to use the pool but you can't change the weather! There was nothing we didn't like about the actual accommodation.

The only downside was the distance from town, BUT, they were very accommodating in taking us there and picking us up…it is only 1km, but a big downhill, which means uphill going home. We had just finished walking for 2 weeks and were not up for more! Thank goodness they drive us to & from town…

Bernadette & Pascal were absolutely delightful. We began our el Camino journey here and we couldn’t ask for a better stay. Hospitality was exquisite, the stay was clean, quiet and right on the Camino. We would recommend this stay to anyone passing through.
