We were initially given a room with twin beds but this was immediately changed to a room with a double bed when requested. The restaurant served us a very good dinner and breakfast buffet.

The hotel incorrectly quoted the pet charge in the formal message sent prior to our visit. One receptionist agreed the hotel had made a mistake and would charge the quoted price while the receptionist who handled our checkout resisted this and was very rude. However, he eventually agreed to honour the hotel's written quotation, though his attitude left a bad impression.

The variety of foods and drinks for breakfast was excellent. The suite was amazingly spacious with sofas in a living room space, small kitchen and balcony. The room was warmed to the right temperature and was very quiet. The room was equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay and the parking space was included. Honest business I mean no hidden costs. Staff were nice and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Good (and reasonable price) meal and wine in restaurant. Access to outside space - balcony, restaurant terrace, walk in gardens/by lake. Comfy bed and very clean. Good breakfast options and dairy free milk available. We didn’t have time to use the Spa but the option (at a cost) was explained to us.

Air con in the room was very loud and not at all cooling; limited menu options in restaurant (one to note if you are fussy or have allergies).

Large, comfortable room. Great balcony overlooking the lake as asked for. Very warm, friendly welcome, everything clean and tastefully decorated. Nice shower & useful separate toilet. No charge for carpark & great advice about where to go in Dax from reception.

Coffee making kettle attached to a tray, but no socket in reach, so had to carry whole thing to plug in near the floor by the bedside. Carpark next to hotel but quite a distance over uneven pavement if you are bringing large cases.

We arrived without a booking so the front desk manager helped us with wiifi to make the booking . Also gave us advice on where to go and eat . The location is stunning overlooking the lake and the room was comfortable, with a patio area for our chihuahua . Dax is a lovely town and very convenient to the motorway.

Floor and bathroom were not clean, loo roll bits on floor and stains around sink ! too tired after long trip to say anything! All in all the room was good size had coffee facilities would we stay again probably but next time I would want it cleaned properly.

Location

Staff were good, room was effective and we liked the balcony. Breakfast was also great and set us up for the long journey to our next destination. The location was great beside the lake and perfect to unwind after a long day in the car. We'll come again.

It would have been nice to be able to get a snack rather than a main meal.

We stayed just over night so we haven’t use any spa etc. what i liked most is the restaurant and service in it. so nice)) rooms are bit old and for older categories of people i guess it’s budget and nice. Everything was clean. Parking is safe and locked so no one from outside can visit it (but i guess in this region you could lived your car at the street and unlocked coz it’s still safe) Casino also was fun

The hotel staff is very helpful, the rooms are spacious and has all the comforts. The surroundings are lovely and there are restaurants and shops nearby. Lots of parking available nearby as well. The sourceo centre is adjacent to the hotel, it sounded lovely but for one night stay not worth to pay for it.

Air conditioning not cool enough on very hot days.

Sliding door to outside would not lock so we had to jam it closed, not ideal as on the ground floor. Room very warm despite turning heating off. Breakfast is poor and too expensive for what it is.
