The house was full of character, in the old town on a narrow street, with parking and local shops very close by. We had everything we needed, including air conditioning on a very hot day. A pool was available for a couple of hours between access time and 7pm. The room was fantastic on the upper floor accessed by lovely stone steps and walls decorated with the talented owners' own art. The breakfast was amazing and was all you needed and more in a massive continental breakfast. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and one was conversant in English. There was a lovely garden in which to read in the sun or shade. Local colour was provided by the ringing of three different sets of church bells in the morning. The property was ideally located close to main routes as a stopover for travelling in France and for exploring the local region.

The access time of 5pm was later than we are used to but not a problem. The lovely location in the historic quarter determined that parking was not on site, but again, this was not a problem as there was ample parking in a local carpark just a few metres away from the property.

Very nice bedroom with wide confortable double bed. Clean. The breakfast was excellent with jam made by the owner and the excellent goat’s cheese from there. Owner helped us with booking the only open bistro on Sunday night which was excellent

The beams of the ceiling where really nice but very low. I bumped my head a couple of times. The bathroom and toilet where outside the bedroom.

Car park is a short walk away and this is a public car park. Accomodation was Pet friendlyish but we couldn't use the garden for our dogs as the owner has cats in the garden.

A beautiful traditional property, in the centre of an old town. The room was tastefully furnished with old traditional artefacts.The host were very helpful.

This property would not be suitable for people who find stairs difficult.

We arrived at 5pm as suggested; rang the bell and left waiting outside. There is no parking outside the house but we eventually found a place nearby and then walked back to the house and waited to get in. It was a bit disconcerting thinking we might have to find another place to stay. After that all good

Difficult to find in narrow one way system without any directions given. No parking next to house.

Lovely room in a beautiful house. Continental breakfast was very good. Very nice hosts. Loved the village square and restaurant options.

Lovely large room with loads of character, great facilities and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent and not to be missed.

5pm check in was a little late for us

Our hosts were super friendly and helpful, Aquarelle is such a lovely atmospheric place, our room in the attic was fantastic and we will certainly be back later in the year or early next when we travel through the country either on our way to or from Portugal.
