Great hotel for a skiing break with family. Staff were lovely and went above and beyond to help where they could. Downstairs had a great play area for children. Onsite restaurant is good, even helped with dietary requirements. Boot room downstairs meant that skis were safely put away. About a 2 minute walk from the bottom of the slopes. One day, we got the free shuttle bus to Lanslebourg, a few more shops and restaurants there and a good selection of beginner slopes too. Would definitely recommend overall!

No lift at the hotel but we left the pushchair downstairs so didn’t really matter. You have to book the spa in advance, usually good availability but it’s €10 per person which we initially didn’t realise.

It’s absolutely perfect! Friendly, cosy, comfortable and perfect for our ski holiday. The restaurant on site is amazing too and definitely highly recommend! Parking, a room to store ski gear - everything you need. It’s also walking distance (less than 5 mins) to the Termignon ski lifts! We hope to come back asap as we loved it so much.

It’s not a bad thing, but just something to be aware of - this is a very family friendly hotel (which suits the friendly resort)! There are likely to be lots of young children around including at the restaurant so just don’t be surprised! :)

I liked the ambiance and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The staff was very exceptional and friendly. They were helpful in giving info regarding our stay, where to go, to ski etc. The food was amazingly delicious. The hotel has great amenities like sauna, jacuzzi, and a storage room for ski gear. It was overall clean. Cozy and modern rooms. Great heating system for winter.

Nothing much. Maybe just the shower head that was a little wonky and kept slipping down the main bar. But other than that, it was all fantastic.

A really lovely and well maintained hotel . Gorgeous rooms and they were able to accommodate our family really well. Brilliant location - 2 min walk to ski lifts and super friendly staff.

Would have been great if portion sizes in the restaurant were a little bigger as well as a veggie option on the set menu. But would still definitely come back and would recommend the fondue for dinner !

This was our second trip to L’Outa after a ski trip almost exactly a year ago. Our group (now 9) returned because we liked it so much, and felt this was a great base to further explore the skiing in the Maurienne Valley. We liked the rooms, and the restaurant/bar area. it just had a nice relaxing vibe. My room had a great morning view along the valley. The meals were generally very good, with very minor suggestions. Nice wine list. Stephane was a good host, and worked hard to make our stay enjoyable.

1. Perhaps some more salad and vegetable additions to the menu. 2. The rear area exiting the boot room could be further developed, but this is a minor issue.

Location very very near ski lifts and central for restaurants in the evenings. Pretty quiet at night too. Lots of parking nearby.

Nothing much. Would be nice to have a kettle in the room to make cups of tea but that’s something to do with being British I think!

Stephane and Charlotte were very welcoming hosts, and Tomas and the rest of their staff were lovely too. The chef made me delicious vegetarian specials each day that weren't on the menu. The walks straight from the hotel up into the meadows and woods were lovely, with great views of mountains all around.

Breakfast was good, but some more cereal options would have made it very good. Great views from the hotel. Easy to find, just off the main road - but nice and quiet at night. Great modern fit out made it a comfortable stay, with some quirky artwork to add interest.

Can't find fault with anything, would definitely stay again.

In the heart of a lovely village, surrounded by mountains! Comfortable room. Very friendly welcome. Excellent breakfast (charged extra). Plenty of parking.

No lift, so 3 flights of stairs - good exercise?

This was a group ski trip, and the location was almost ski-in ski-out, with very good access to the lift at Termignon. From here we could access several other ski station in the Maurienne Valley, both directly and using our hired van. The bar and restaurant were excellent. The decor is a nice mix of contemporary and traditional with a fireplace to gather around for drinks. The downstairs boot room was functional. My friends used the bookable sauna most evenings. The staff were super-friendly and helpful. We enjoyed musical entertainment most evenings, as we happened to visit during a National Accordion Festival. We were definitely entertained!

The back exit was a bit icy, so the route to car park was quite slippery. maybe an improved back exit area could be a future development.
