Excellent location, spotlessly clean, right in the heart of beautiful Verdun on a lovely cobbled street. Staff are extremely friendly, we had a lovely time. Highly recommend !

Excellent apartments, safe, immaculately clean, very comfortable and relaxing, spacious, perfectly staged and equipped, quiet location yet close to historic sites and restaurants, close free parking!! I would definitely recommend the Chambre d'hôte et gîte chez Thomas et John to anyone who asks me for a lodging recommendation in Verdun, and I look forward to staying there at my next opportunity!!

The stairs leading to the upstairs apartments are narrow and a little steep which is customary in Europe/France. Please consider this when visiting and when packing! We were tourists with big luggage (our fault!), but I'm glad we managed the stairs! The apartments are SOOOOO worth it!!!!

It was clean and stylish with plenty of room. Having a washing machine for laundry was great. There were games for us to play and the orientation pdfs were well laid out.

Upstairs double bed was noisy and soft/lumpy, but that may just be a personal preference. The location worked well for food and the citadel, but a few homeless people around and area not well maintained or cleaned. Renovations are ongoing in the area, so I am sure it will improve over time. Could do with a bit of coffee or tea in the kitchen.

This was a little gem of an apartment close to the Centre of Verdun. Parking was close by, which was very convenient.

The apartment is great for some nights stay in Verdun. It’s perfect located just a few steps above the center of the town, close to everything.

Well located next to the Verdun memorial and the church. The rooms were spacious.

The chairs and sofa were smelly, they needed to have the fabric cleaned. The towels were old and worn. There were no paper towels in the kitchen. You could hear every time some one stepped on the floor in the apartment above us. The temperature of the shower was hard to adjust.

We booked a number of apartments and all were really nicely done out. One in particular (possibly number 6) was stunning. The owner lives close by and was incredibly helpful and friendly. Instructions on how to find the rooms and keys was very good/helpful. Easy to park our hire car very close by and super location to walk into the town

One of the apartments had a strange smell in the foyer and the washing machine broke/didn't work when our washing was in it. Steep steps up to some of the rooms so not good for anyone less physically able.

Great location in centre. Free parking round the corner. Large apartment. Although we didn't see any owners or staff, communication via booking com messages was good.

I was a little surprised to be asked to sign a separate rental contract via a French website with terms and conditions in French, given that I had booked through booking.com... But I ignored the request for a digital signature on that contract and no one complained....

Very new and nice appartment. Free public parking very closeby. Very good and clear instructions about check in and check out. Short walk to bars and restaurants.

Mattress was a bit thin and worn.

The location was super just a few steps from the cathedral and John was the most friendly host ever. Very nice and well equipped appartment absolute value for money.

There are 3 apartments and it is not well isolated against noise, we had a family above us. But it was no problem we used ear plugs.
