I chose the hotel for its proximity to the town, the secure parking and to some extent the price. The hotel delivered on each of those needs. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We did not eat in the hotel.

Lack of air conditioning was an issue, despite the fan supplied. It was very hot in France this year. The carpets were particularly sad. In general the decorative state of the rooms was not up to modern standards, which was a pity because it has the potential to be a really great hotel.

Super location right in the centre. We for got about the hotel's private parking and went for the underground car park which is practically next door. We parked there from 12:30pm until 9:30am the following morning and it cost only 15€. The hotel reception staff were very friendly and courteous.

The bathroom was a little 'tired' and needs an update. In particular we did not care for the bathroom door, which in our room (402), is a saloon swing panel with a wide gap top and bottom. This means that a person using the bathroom/WC has absolutely no privacy. We liked the hotel but if we stay here again (which we might) we would request a bathroom with a functioning door.

The hotel has a great location, and the staff were professional and friendly throughout my stay. The room was very clean, and I appreciated the fresh towels provided daily.

The smell of cigarette smoke from people smoking just outside the hotel sometimes reached the room, and street noise at night could be disturbing.

The location was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The parking was really good value and secure.

Decor was tired and needs attention. Our curtains were torn, and the handheld shower head support was broken and they all need to be fixed.

Hotel is in the superb location - just in the heart of Vichy. Excellent to visit old part of Vichy or go for lunch or dinner around. It is in a nice, old building and despite there is no air condition - the room was not very hot. Very good breakfast. Fantastic service - people are very nice there and helpful.

No air condition, so we had to shut the blinds to avoid heat in the room. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Excellent welcome from William and fabulous tips for exploring Vichy. Dinner was also very good. The bed was comfortable and the room had plenty of charm

The room was a little dated and the shower cubicle could have been a little bigger.

Close to town centre. Friendly staff

No aircon which meant we had to keep the windows open all night . There was a lot of noise from late night revellers, utility vehicles and boy racers

Excellent location. Good restaurant. Quiet. Good staff. Clean. Good breakfast.

The traditional rooms in this hotel are quite basic (but clean). No parking (but a commercial underground car park is close by).

The twin room was large enough to comfortably accommodate two non-intimate friends….hard to find in France. The beds were comfortable and location very good with restaurants nearby. The lobby is attractive and the price very reasonable.

Difficulty finding place to unload luggage in front of hotel and run in to get pass to enter hotel parking.
