The hotel is located in a quiet side street, just a 10 minute stroll from the centre. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Our junior suite was superb, spacious, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. Secure parking adjacent to the hotel cost €9 per night. Breakfast was good but would have liked a selection of fresh fruit hence the slightly lower rating. This would not however put me off staying at the hotel again, and I would definitely recommend it to fellow travellers.

Access to the hotel is in a very narrow street and difficult to park. Furthermore, there is a parking facility but it's necessary to book in advance and the information was not clearly stated in the property description. Parking in the street was possible but we had the very unpleasant surprise to discover that our car was damaged whenwe took it back, and of course no message was left.

Conditions of parking

The room was very spacious and the location was good. Front desk staff were friendly. There is a secure paid parking spot but also lots of free parking nearby.

The room was very warm and they wouldn’t turn on air conditioning . We tried opening the windows but that allowed a lot of flies into the room. I understand and support there is a push to save energy but when the room temp reaches mid 20’s or more we expect screens on windows (or air conditioning). In fairness, this isn’t the only hotel we experienced this issue at.

We had a disabled room on the first floor by the lift so no extra walking. We had a beautiful little balcony. Room was very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, I didn't wake with a stiff neck. Shower was powerful and toiletries were provided. Internet was good. The location was ideal with restaurants and shops within a short walk and the secure parking was essential and much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

The access ramp and stairs to the main door were beautifully tiled but they were very slippery when wet. There was a warning notice. The rubber sealing on the bottom of the shower door didn't seal properly so the bathroom floor got very wet. The tv didn't have CNN or BBC channels as advertised. No bar or restaurant although food was available via reception I believe. Just little things that didn't spoil our stay.

Location was good, secure parking, and quiet and the staff were friendly and welcoming. A good breakfast was provided. There were a lot of roadworks going on nearby which made the walk to the centre "interesting" (not the hotel's fault).

We didn't find the bed comfortable. The carpet had a few stains. No hooks in the bathroom to hang towels on, had to put ours on the door handle rather on the floor. No plugs in the washbasins, just a pretty "grill" making it perilous for cleaning contact lenses (fortunately the paper cup fitted over the grill), or wasting water while doing a wet shave. The shower was covered in calcium deposits so looked unsightly, where everything else was spotless. Had to plug the kettle in on the bedside table next to the telephone as there was no other convenient socket near to the tray providing refreshments.

Managed to get a parking space right outside the hotel, Very personable, helpful receptionist, room very comfortable, lots of details given about Vichy including a very helpful map. Vichy is a beautiful place with lots to see and do, Take the tourist train to get a flavour of the town centre.

The receptionist went above and beyond on my arrival , I arrived after a long ride from Calais in the rain, she helped order me hot food and had it delivered to reception due to a late night check in. The rooms were spacious and clean, the hotel on arrival looks impressive to the eye . Lovely place

Noise early morning outside from builders but that's not the hotels fault

Location good, staff very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a great shower and plenty of sockets to charge phone etc (lots of hotels don't have many that work). Breakfast good with fresh croissants, all different types!

The wifi did not work at all. We did advise Reception and they tried to sort it but didn't work until next morning and only stayed 1 night. I needed wifi to answer emails

The vicinity around the hotel is a huge positive. So many options etc. The cleanliness of the rooms is superb. Equally the staff on reception are so well versed in all aspects of the hotel and the options for customers in town.

Zilch ! Truly well run hotel with superbly briefed staff and excellent facilities.

Lovely clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of choice at breakfast.

Despite the AC the room was quite warm.
