Staff were very friendly and despite our limited French they were very helpful. The hotel restaurant was shut for the Christmas period, but they took us by minibus to another restaurant in town, which they had booked in advance for us. Collected at the end of the evening without hassle - no additional charge for the transport! Throughout we were made to feel very welcome - lovely log fire in the dining room. The only criticism was the lack of sound control in the bedrooms (due to being an older style hotel), but apart from that, a very enjoyable stay. Will be very happy to return

Breakfast and restaurant meals were very good and the staff very pleasant and helpful. The beds were very clean and the showers were great with an easy step in to them. Towels were plentiful and the shower gel was always topped up as was the box of tissues. There were plenty of parking spaces in the grounds and the restaurant had both indoor and outdoor tables with plenty of space between them.

The hotel requires some maintenance for example in my room the toilet seat was not secure. In my colleagues room the nozzle to switch from the hand held shower to the ceiling shower was broken otherwise there was plenty of hot water.

It’s the 5th time I’ve stayed as it’s the perfect stopover to and from SW France. Very close to the motorway but not formulaic like most motorway hotels. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The decor is unconventional and may not be to the taste of some but part of the charm for me. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I’ve tried a few other hotels in the area and it’s the best one for this sort of stay. One of the stays was with my baby grandson and a cot was provided. The restaurant is classic French comfort food which is perfect after a long drive.

On Booking.com it says there’s a coffee machine in the room but there isn’t

Love this hotel - it's quiet, clean, the staff are so helpful even with non french speakers. The rooms are ample, and clean. The restaurant is absolutely fabulous. We love the food there, it's very special.

Unfortunately, we'd asked for rooms close, and although we were only upstairs, I should have asked for a downstairs room. So, what I didn't like was the stairs (no lift) but that is my fault, and not theirs.

The hotel gave us a ground floor room as requested. Room good size. Comfortable bed. The restaurant and food are great, although drinks are a little expensive. The staff were polite, friendly and the receptionist was very helpful. The location is great for us and is quiet.

The walk in shower was slippery which could be dangerous. It took a very long time to get hot water in both shower and basin, both in the evening and morning. The room could do with some more lighting as a little dark. Drinks in restaurant expensive. Breakfast although adequate (you certainly don't get as much as we have been offered in previous years) is overpriced if you only want coffee and croissant.

We stayed twice on our way to and from our holiday in the Dordogne. It's not often that I return to the same place twice but this was such a pleasure. So convenient for the motorway, the perfect overnight hotel stop. Very clean and spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean bathrooms,delicious and plentiful breakfast, all at a reasonable price. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome throughout our stay. The restaurant on site is a huge asset to the hotel, very good food and at a great price, again the staff were very polite, friendly and efficient and we ate in the lovely garden the first time, and inside the restaurant on our return due to expected bad weather.

Nothing, I cannot fault the excellent service and comfortable stay we enjoyed on both occasions.

The room was very comfortable and having an onsite restaurant is so convenient. Tea and coffee are available at any time in the foyer which is great too. Overall a good place to stopover on our way back to the UK.

Sound proofing between floors isn't brilliant but fortunately didn't disturb us too much.

The hotel is very close to the motorway. The staff are charming and helpful, rooms simple but comfortable and quiet. The restaurant, usually very good, was closed but they took me into their restaurant in VIERZON which was equally good and welcoming. Good breakfast.

The WiFi in the too was a bit variable.

A very comfortable private hotel in a quiet neighbourhood, yet very close to the autoroute A20. The room was very modern, brightly decorated, with an excellent walk-in shower, and separate WC. In addition, there is a wonderful restaurant in the grounds of the hotel, serving excellent food at good prices

Lovely, welcoming staff and excellent value for money restaurant. The hotel is located close to the main road so its ideal for people who are travelling long distances and need a friendly comfortable stay along the way.

The only small thing i would change is to have a small fridge in the room. However, the staff were more than happy for us to put our small bag of food in their fridge.
