My bed this time (in room 31) was the best I've had in this hotel. I slept very well despite over 30 degrees heat. Also the shower was more spacious than usual and I had a view of the park trees. I've stayed here several times over the past few years when transiting through Beziers, as it is a short walk through a lovely park to the station.

The breakfasts are simple - no eggs or cheese - but the homemade yogurt is the saving grace. Lots of stairs here and no lift, but I'm used to it and luckily this time I only had a small rucksack so no problem. The rooms are very variable but this is usually reflected in the price.

It’s a perfect location for an overnight stop when travelling to/from Beziers station. Just 5 minutes walk across a lovely park. Also a short walk up the Allees into town with plenty of cafes nearby. It’s a simple traditional French hotel with a characterful atmosphere. (Don’t expect fancy!) The room was very basic but the bed was comfortable and the shower had plentiful hot water. I was on the third floor and the manager offered to carry my case up for me.

The breakfast was pretty basic (I’m pretty sure last time I stayed here I was offered eggs but not this time) but reasonable quality. The toilet was rather stained.

The owners and staff were excellent. Spoke English and always courteous. The room was bright but needed up dating a little. Location was great for exploring the City centre. The breakfast was good and served quickly and the coffe was excellent. A joy to stay mainly because of the staff and location

The room we stayed in was ok but a little up dating and painting would make this room very comfortable. Putting in a wardrobe in the alcove of the room would make it easier to put our clothes.

The location was perfect for me as I needed to be close to the station for the following morning. The room was simple but charming. It had everything I required. I really enjoyed the breakfast in welcoming room with iconic Feria posters. The waitress was very helpful and engaging over breakfast, the proprietor was very welcoming when I arrived to book in. I would definitely stay here again if coming to Béziers.

The towels were clean but looked a little tired. Not a big problem for me but it might be worth refreshing them with new stock.

A lovely and friendly welcome. Very helpful with the case, taking it to the room and also showing us to the garage to park the car. I paid for the basic room as we only stayed one night, it was clean and comfortable and overlooked the park. We paid for breakfast , which was served in a lovely room. It was a basic breakfast that was bread, croissant, jam , fruit and homemade yoghurt., all were good.

Nothing, we had a lovely stay.

The location was perfect for visiting all the sights in Beziers and was near numerous restaurants. The hotel itself had a wonderful ambiance. Our room was delightful and overlooked the Park des Poets. The staff were all extremely helpful explaining where to find different things we needed or wanted to do. The hotel breakfast was excellent value for money and included home made yoghurt. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you so much!

There was nothing at all to dislike

Convenient pleasant location and good price. I always stay here when transiting through Beziers as it is a lovely walk through the park to the station. My room this time had a lovely view of the trees in the park.

Pillows this time were not so comfortable and the mattress seemed to slope sideways a bit. It’s an old building so probably due to sloping floors. Shower temperature was a bit hard to control.

Comfortable bed, cleanliness, and really great breakfast. I appreciated getting yogurt which seems rarely offered with breakfast in my experience. Also, the staff was superlative, kind, helpful, and friendly.

Very small bathroom, but this was expected in the older building. It was fine for me because I am not a large person. My husband (6’3” tall, not heavy) seemed to be fine also, however, the bathroom might seem a bit tight for some larger guests. Walk-up (no elevator) might be challenging for some people if you have too much luggage, but this was not a problem for us.

Breakfast was good, fresh fruit & home made yoghurt excellent. Staff excellent & welcoming. Secure parking good. Parking reserved for Hotel use outside the front door to unload, you then have to drive 50m to the secure parking, the street the hotel is on is no through road so you have to reverse out if you are unable to turn round.

No lift, bedroom on 2nd floor.

Lovely friendly hotel. Camille was lovely 😍 Des Poets was full of French charm. In a fantastic location overlooking place des poets. Five minutes walk from the train station and Paul Riquet square.

Narrow stairs were part of the charm but might be difficult for some if further up than the first floor..
