Pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Beautiful location on the water. We spent less than 24 hours here b/c we headed to Bora Bora the next day but it was the perfect place to stop over before going to the other islands. The room was well equipped with what we needed for the night. The pool and bar areas are all situated with gorgeous views of the water. The infinity style pool makes you feel like you are at a 5 star resort but not paying the over water bungalow prices! We even went for a night swim although the pool was supposed to be closed. :). Our kids enjoyed the stay there as well. It is probably good for a night or two but may be redundant after a couple days.

The sea view two bedroom apartment was large and the terrasse was absolutely wonderful. The infinity pool is large with a gradual entry and a pool bar. The view of Mo'orea and sunset is spectacular. Many water toys (kayaks, SUPs, etc.) available to take out. The staff were very friendly. Parking is easy.

Despite being on the sea front, the ambiance at the onsite restaurant is not great and feels almost temporary, under a tent - we headed elsewhere for dinner every night but one. Some of the facilities need a refresh, e.g., the pool bottom is quite cracked and easy to get scratched on. The kitchen in the apartment was very sparsely equipped, e.g., no wine opener, no lids, no sharp knives.

Our group of four couples thoroughly enjoyed everything about the resort. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. They were more like a nice apartment rather than a hotel room as the separate living room and kitchen were a big plus. The setting looking out at Moorea was truly spectacular. We loved the infinity pool and tiki bar area on the man made island. The food at the restaurants was quite good as well. Additionally, the rooms, buildings and grounds were kept exceptionally clean. What really sets this resort apart though was the incredible staff. They couldn't have been been more friendly and helpful. We'd highly recommend this resort.

For our first time on a trip to Polynesia, without knowing what to expect, the Te Moana was perfectly located. We rente a car (recommended) and this place was about 10 minutes from. The first impression is as if your entering an all inclusive resort, which is not. It was very inviting and the first thing was to go to the infinity pool and have a drink. The stuff was kind and made you feel welcome from the beginning. The included breakfast is superb. Great parking.

Well, it looks like the building has seen better days. The pool has visible cracks that could be fixed. Other than that, the bathrooms were super modern and beautiful.

Location is delightful with an infinity pool overlooking Moorea. Also, restaurant and bars beautifully located at lagoon edge. Room very spacious although a little tired. Great views from the large balcony. Food and drinks in the restaurant and bar good and reasonably priced.

The room was a little tired. No fresh milk in the room and only 2 English Breakfast teabags. This was eventually resolved by the Deputy General Manager. No English language TV channels. The pool floor and surrounding walls are in need of refurbishment although I do understand and appreciate the inconvenience and disruption doing this would cause for guests.

Stunning property with views of Moorea. Unreal sunsets. Whether you prefer the infinity pool or the lagoon, this place has it all. Great food and service. We booked the first night of our 2 week honeymoon here. 6am flight in to Tahiti, even tho our reservation was not until that evening, they let us check in, drop our luggage and enjoy the property right away. Even a fantastic breakfast. The room was ready before noon and we checked in with no additional cost for an early check in. We loved it so much we booked it for our last night in French Polynesia at the end of our trip. This is the place to book if you are want to get the scoop on all things French Polynesia and wanting to make sure it’s easy to get to the airport and ferries. The front desk was very helpful. They helped us arranging taxis, understanding the ferry systems (we headed to Moorea/Bora Bora via ferry and flights) after the first night and they even made sure we had a taxi waiting for us for our early morning flight back to California at the end of the trip. I wish California hospitality was on this level! We’ll be back for sure.

Great location. Beautiful views. Rentals available right on location for snorkeling, SUP, etc. Service is great. Nice bar with a beautiful location to watch the sunset. Excellent on location restaurant.

Only one restaurant on location. Would like more options, as there are not many other restaurants within walking distance. Nice pool but not heated and no beach access from the hotel. A small lagoon but otherwise need to travel to a beach.

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely view of the water with beautiful sunsets over Mo’orea. Comfortable beds and spacious room. Kids enjoyed the pool for an evening swim. Appreciated the free parking on site. No elevator beyond second floor to our third floor room. While this wasn’t a problem for us, it may be challenging for others. Disappointed to see an additional ‘eco contribution’ on my final bill. No problem having it removed but thought it a bit much to charge this extra when there were no obvious environmental initiatives beyond not washing sheets and towels.

Great place to stay for a night! We stayed one night after our 6am flight landed from Los Angeles. Even tho we got to the hotel at 8am the day we were checking in (checkin time not until 2 or 3) they let us check our luggage and have full use of the property. They even got us into our room early, 10am 🙂 With no extra charge! You won’t find that in many places. Perfect place to acclimate to the time difference and start your vacation. Breakfast was great! I am a critical warm breakfast person and this exceeded my expectations. Can’t go wrong. After a night we grabbed a to ferry to Moorea. The hotel staff was very helpful. They arranged a taxi to the ferry terminal and made sure we had tickets for the correct ferry. We highly recommend this property!

The unit we booked had 2-stories, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms, 1 masterbed room, living room and 2 balconies over looking the garden. We loved how spacious it was. The master bath was luxurious. We have 2 adults and 2 kids and I had requested an extra bed and had planned for the other kid to sleep on the sofa bed. When we arrived, there were 2 very comfortable cots already setup. We really appreciate the thoughtfulness of the staff. The room was clean, AC'd. The beds were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, the lagoon and dined at the ocean front bar while watching the sunset over Moorea. It was an amazing picturesque view of Tahiti. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

The corners in the bathroom were a bit moldy, but not too bad and is expected of in a tropical setting. The huge space and comfortable setting made up for the minor issue.
