It's not my first time staying at this hotel. I like the location, staff, my room clean every single day, bread put on the table every morning 😀 and the sound of the sea and palm trees at night. I had lovely neighbours too! I recommend this hotel 100%

There is something I didn't like about two members of staff but I would rather tell them personally. The rest were really nice and friendly. But just because I am a solo traveller, this doesn't mean I go to Gambia for what many people think people travelling on their own go to Gambia for... That is NOT my case. I also sent an email before going to the hotel (twice) and never got a response. I was asking if it was possible to have a top floor room. When I arrived, they gave me a ground floor room. It is just a matter of preference and feeling safer. I decided to stay in that room as it was nice and I liked my neighbours. They all seemed very friendly and I felt safe.

Breakfast food delivery was a bit hit and miss, fridge was stocked with a few items on 2nd day and last day only leaving insufficient stocks to cover a 14 night stay. No instructions or information regarding Breakfast provisions; consequently I was being asked daily by new arrival guests how did I get Breakfast items. However, daily deliveries to my door each morning of fresh bread was brilliant .... just needed fridge replenishment to be equally as reliable!

1) The bed was very comfortable and those pillows were the best I've experienced in a long time. 2) The kitchenette was very convenient and suitable; however, as someone who loves to cook, I dreamed of an oven! 3) The hot water temperature and water pressure in the kitchenette and bathroom were so great. 4) I appreciated the fact that the property was not very noisy at night. Even the NYE festivities ended earlier than anticipated. 5) Everyone was so friendly and very hospitable. No one I met was disagreeable. Unfortunately, I do not remember everyone's names, but Mr. Sillah, Alieu, the other young man, and the young woman at the front desk were very kind and helpful. The young lady who brought my salad to my room the first day and then assisted me in the restaurant was so nice. John in housekeeping was very accommodating and quick to assist when I needed anything. The gentlemen in the beach bar and security were also very pleasant and helpful. Others in the mini-mart or just passing by on the property were all so pleasant.

1) The WiFi did not work very well. 2) It was too bad that there are only a few television channels available for viewing. 3) Considering the climate, I think that if the AC is not complimentary in every room a fan should definitely be available at no cost. 4) I really appreciate the good customer service demonstrated. However, as a customer service consultant and trainer, I must confess that I noticed several areas that could stand improvement. I plan to follow up with Mr. Sillah at a later date to discuss how staff can provide an even greater customer experience that will be the ultimate model in the Gambian hospitality industry.

Great location clean and comfortable excellent fresh bread delivered to room daily. More frequent regular replenishment of fridge groceries for breakfast would be better as 1 x juice carton, 1 x box 8 triangles of cheese not enough to last 2 weeks! But otherwise excellent

Beach location excellent, also in a quiet area. Small kitchen for some self-catering. We’ll kept gardens and pool.

Important - Need more shade umbrellas around the pool, only two there for 25 sun beds. No live music in bar/ restaurant. Too quiet, not many customers.
