This hotel was exactly what I expected — and that’s a good thing. The room offered a beautiful view, just like in the photos, and the location is truly excellent: close to everything, yet quiet and relaxing. A special mention goes to the restaurant on the top floor — not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere and the panoramic view over Batumi make it a perfect place to unwind. Would definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately, my experience was affected by a major issue: the room was heavily smoked in. The smell of cigarettes was overwhelming — it wasn’t just in the air, but deeply embedded in the pillows, bed linens, and even the mattress. It felt like people had been smoking in that room for years. This was really unpleasant and made it difficult to relax or get a good night’s sleep. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and improves room freshness and cleanliness going forward.

The hotel is quite new, with modern design and furniture. The staff was very friendly, there was no problem for us to leave our luggage for free in the luggage room and there was even the possibility to check-out late. The location is perfect, all attractions are on walkable distance. The view is also amazing, recommend to book a room with sea view.

The light in the room/bathroom was not enough, especially if you are 3 girls and would love to do makeup :) strongly recommend to add some bulbs or light

The hotel is not far from the airport. We received the requested room and the Sea view was excellent. We did not attend at the restaurant as there were many restaurants in the area we wanted to try for local cuisine.

The reception desk staff were pleasant but not overly friendly. This was okay just not the welcome I had hoped for. The hotel entrace is hidden at the back and you need to walk through a driveway. The taxi service overcharged us from the airport significantly and I only realized once we left the taxi. For future rides I registered with Bolt (similar to Uber) that operated in Giorgia and had no issues afterwards.

Great location, good breakfast at the panoramic rooftop restaurant, new and well designed rooms.

Wifi connection was very unstable and of a low speed.

I loved the hospitality immediately from my first conversation on WhatsApp, with Ekaterina, hotel manager. I had some initial questions about the airport shuttle service, as well as the details of the Bolt Taxi service. She was so kind and easy to talk to. Nukri, one of the employers at the front desk, gave a seamless and easy check out process as well. I decided to pay for a room package that consisted of free breakfast each morning, and the one lady upstairs at the Lumi Restaurant (11th floor, rooftop) named Katya was extremely professional in preparing the coffee and tea, closing the blinds if the sun was too bright, and also engaging in personal, cordial conversation.

Hotel is very nice, stuff also very nice and friendly, always keen to help, location is really Superb! in old town of Batumi which is one of the prettiest part of the city, very close to all the Batumi main attractions. I would recommend this place for tourists to stay in Batumi. Also breakfast was on the top floor of he building and we had a great sea and city view from there.

There are lot of 5 stars hotel in Batumi, but in Tapis Rouge Design Boutique Hotel panoramic view from balcony is the best, really breathtaking, especially from the upper floors. Hotel is located in few meters form the Batumi boulevard between Sheraton and Radisson hotels. There is De Facto shop in the first floor of the building and hotel's rooms are on the upper floors. Reception is in the second floor, little bit unusual location. Rooms are large, little bit dark, well designed, with Villeroy & Boch equipment and machinery. Bathroom is also large. TV set is appropriate of the room size with more than 100 TV programs in different languages. So, in general, rating of the property - superb.

Not enough bathroom amenities - no hair conditioner, no toothbrush, also shoe shiner is lacking. Room is little bit dark.

Generally quite good experience. Very good location, nice views from the upper floor Breakfast was very good, lot of things to choose from and restaurant located on the top floor with the view of the sea.

A bit on the pricier side and despite being a 5* hotel definitely lacking a bit of luxury from the reception cramped in the second floor, strange men (stuff?) by the entrance to the elevators asking questions where I was going. People smoking on the terrace during breakfast. Minor issues but generally expected more from the place according to reviews and photos.

Excellent location, very near to the European square. Staff were excellent and very helpful. They have guided us to the best restaurants and touristic locations in Batomi. Room AC was excellent with a very comfortable bed. Spacious Breakfast Hall. WiFi was excellent. The shower gave an excellent relaxation feeling.,

Breakfast was a bit poor and less varied. Room didn't have tissues during our 3 nights stay. TV was poor, connected to Hotbird satellite TV, and guests couldn't see any program. Netflix and other streaming programs were blocked. The safe box was not working. The proximity of the room to the reception desk was not good. The room was not isolated right as we could hear next room's couple talking.The linen was not replaced, not even once during our 3 nights stay. The bed cover was found short and not enough width for a couple to sleep right. The wardrobe had a lot of fingertips marks around its handles. The 2 elevators are not programmed to work together. We had to wait for a long time to get one. All in all, the experience was not a 5 star.

Since we arrived, I was impressed with the hotel, as the manager upgraded the rooms without my asking, and I asked them to find a driver to take me to another area, they did it as quickly as possible. Thank you very much, Nadia, for your kind cooperation and reception. Even late, the employee Nadia helped us to order food from her own phone, because we do not know the area well and all restaurants were closed.. Very helpful staff even at the time of leaving the hotel. The employee who was at the reception calculated breakfast for each room instead of for each person.
