The location is just perfect for anyone who did like to go Skiing or like to stay in the center of Gudari. If you take the room with balcony it would be a nice viewing experience especially during the winter season with the mountain view and sunrise. Its a family run hotel and the staff are all part of the family tree and they treat you as their own. Makes you feel like a homestay setup. The hotel accpets card payments. The Wifi speed is good enough if you did like to work a bit. They can help you with options for skiing or some other site seeing near by. I was there for new years eve and they arranged a nice dinner celebration for the hotel guests which was beyond expectations.

You should consider changing the shower gel container and replace it with tubes as its difficult to get the shower gel out of the container in that packing. (not a showstopper though) Similar to other hotel practices , the hotel should offer 2 water bottles a day complementary. Should have some first-aid box handy for some immediate band-aid requirements .

Wonderful stay! Warm atmosphere! Merabi and his team (family) provided outstanding service! Saba met us in the night and kindly helped with luggage. Ucha's care and hospitality was unforgettable. During the New Year Eve celebration we were given the 1-st prize: 3-nights stay next season. Thanks Merabi! Will definitely use a chance to return!

Groceries/shops are quite far from the hotel. It would be great to refill drinking water more frequently in the room.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tsiga, and I can't recommend it enough. The staff were extraordinary – they went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of our stay was perfect. They provided rides to the slopes whenever we needed, assisted with every request, helped us with our equipment, and even adjusted the food to kosher standards for every meal, which we deeply appreciated. The hotel is warm, cozy, and incredibly comfortable. Everything is impeccably clean and feels new, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We had an amazing experience and will definitely be coming back!

There is no elevator. It didn’t bother us, but if it’s important to you, I’d recommend requesting a room on a lower floor.

Family run gorgeous boutique hotel. Hotel Tsiga is the most lovely hotel in the upper part of Gudauri, the staff are welcoming warm and friendly and will help you everything and anything. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable, with an amazing view. The hotel has its own ski hire which although limited in choice was good quality and so very convenient, We arrived on Sunday morning at 9:30 and were skiing by 11 thanks to the quick check in , skis provided and a shuttle to the ski lift, The hotel staff are on call to take you to and from the ski lift whenever you need , they even drove us to a restaurant in the evening. Thanks so much for our lovely stay.

It was a lovely clean homely place . Loved the room and breakfast room and the sofa and fire place too. Was very welcoming and peaceful for me . The lift and ride to the ski lifts made a massive difference and so it’s not a problem not being next to the ski lifts. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful - 4 hot dishes , hams , vegetables, cheeses , youghuts , cereals , cakes , toast, eggs, fruits ,,, I did not need lunch!! No smells and all clean and nice with a room to warm and dry the boots and store the skii gear! I am sure to return if I can ! Loved it!

The staff at Hotel Tsiga were delightful - Saba, Giorgio and Ucha really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable, and to assist with all our queries and requests. Thank you so much. The hotel is well situated, and we had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room. It is very convenient to hire ski equipment from the hotel, and to have the complimentary shuttle to the nearest ski lift.

Breakfast is a bit limited in terms of choice and variety, but Ucha is very accommodating and goes the extra mile to assist with additional requests.

arrived earlier than the official check-in time, but they were kind enough to accommodate us right away. They also provided us with useful information about the resort, such as where to buy ski passes and rent equipment. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the ski lift and will pick you up at an agreed-upon time, which made things very convenient. Our room was clean and comfortable, with fresh towels and bedding. The water pressure in the shower was great, and we couldn’t hear our neighbors at all, which made for a peaceful stay. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and everything we tried was fresh and tasty. We’re definitely planning to return in the future!

The only small downside was that there was a slight draft coming from the window, but it wasn’t noticeable once we were under the duvet, so it didn’t affect our stay much. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The hotel is close to Shino Funicular, every morning , the owner took us by car with all the gear to the funicular and picked us up in the evening. He also helped us to rent all the gear with decent prices . What truly sets Tsiga hotel apart is its exceptional staff. Each member of the team went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, offering personalized services and attending to all our needs with genuine warmth and professionalism. Their attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were evident in every interaction. The culinary offerings were a delight.
