The gardens and buildings were beautiful, well taken care of and lovely to walk around, with our little shi tzu. A wedding was going on the next day, and people were arriving the night before and having dinner under the sun. Imagine how beautiful the wedding would be! The were interesting art works in the schloss too!

Nothing; it was lovely and perfect for our stop over on our way to Luxembourg. Had to pay an extra €20 for our little dog, that was rather expensive, but the room as discounted, so it made it all right.

The property is beautiful and the restaurant was great both for dinner and for breakfast. The staff was very nice and helpful. Parking was very easy.

The seating in the room was not very comfortable, there was one office style chair and one comfortable chair and one chair that was for decoration because it didn´t have a seat. The bathroom had a glass, barn style door that did not have much privacy.

The hotel is located in an historic old convent now fitted out to a very a high standard and with very attractive gardens. Location is in a small village about 15 minutes from the nearest larger town. Room standard was good with good wifi.

We stayed on a public holiday when there was no restaurant open with a 15 min drive to the nearest restaurant. There seemed to be very limited service when I would have thought a hotel of this standard would have made more effort to provide full service at all times. There was no kettle or tea making facilities in the room which seemed quite a shortcoming.

beautiful mansion with spacious modern rooms, terraces, gardens and lots to discover - catacombs, sculptures, barocque theater and much more. Einstein slept here, among other scientists/literates/friends of the lord and his family in the early 1900 to 20es. You can see a nice collection of pictures and dedications hanging all over the place. Also, some catchy modern sculptures are scattered around, in- and outside the building. Good choice of fruits at the breakfast' buffet

the schloss seems to hosts a great amount of meetings, conferences, big groups of business guests, so everything is a bit unpersonal and mass processing. Breakfast staff was unfriendly and too busy cleaning hundreds of tables around us, so everything was annoyingly loud and hectic while we were eating. Try to enjoy your breakfast outside, if weather and staff allows. Reception staff was friendly and attentive though

Fabulous huge beautiful old wooden staircase. Old castle, very beautiful gardens, quiet!!!, no light pollution. The staff went above and beyond for everything. Lovely.

Perfect quiet overnight stay after a long drive around southern Germany, Switzerland & Austria. Schloss itself was an old convent and it has incredibly beautiful with lovely manicured. We stayed in one of the converted stables/outhouses. Receptionist & staff are a credit to the business. Breakfast is plentiful. Cereals, cold meats, cheeses, hot food. Have a walk downstairs to the wine bar. I’m still sure it was the head of composer Richard Strauss that I saw on the way down???!!!

That the archery on the grounds wasn’t available. Needed 8 or more people to have it functional. Area might be too quiet for some. Memmingen is 30 mins away by car.

Amazing location in historical building. Very large and comfortable room. The shower was the top! Free water bottle. Reach breakfast and various (all types). Free and handy parking beetwen garden's hedges.

Nothing. Maybe It could be useful to have a kettle in the room and a refrigerator.

Breakfast was very good. Historic hotel with beautiful, spacious grounds, plentiful parking. Small town, could walk to restaurants.

Weather was warm, would have been nice to have at least rooms fans with no A/C for better comfort and sleeping.

A magnificent renovated historical building that deserves all 4 stars it's been rated for. Breakfast was perfect and kickstarted our day. In fact you have breakfast at a restaurant with dedicated staff catering to you. The surrounding park is neat and interesting, the town of Lautrach is quintessentially German. A quiet and tranquil place, perfect for an overnight stay.

Restaurant and bar opened from 19:00 during our stay, luckily we were able to find a small restaurant to fill our hungry bellies. The bathroom door is sliding and made of glass, therefore providing no seal... Beware that certain odours or sounds can and will escape.
