The personnel is very friendly. You are always met with a smile. The rooms are beautiful and quiet. The breakfast is fantastic. The whole place has a fairytale like charm. The food from the restaurant is the best I have had in Germany

Actually nothing could have been better.

Spotlessly clean. Warm welcome. Very comfortable bedroom. Quiet. Delicious food. Plenty of parking.

The kitchen closes at 8.30pm, so we were only just in time for dinner after a motorcycle ride from Eurotunnel. Not so much something we didn't like, as something to be aware of if like us, you prefer to eat later.

The hotel is very beautiful and the soundings looks fantastic. The breakfast we very nice and one of the better ones we have had in Germany. We only got to spend one night here this time, but we would love to come back in the future.

Hotel has an amazing building. the garden is exceptional. Also room was big and comfy. They dont have 24/7 reception but they helped us on the phone and we got the room easily.

It require little bit renovation, I don't like a decade old carpets on the ground. Bed was ok but please add more pillows! Also breakfast is nice but not enough options.

Lovely comfortable bed and clean large room. Travelling with dogs and the location in the woods was perfect. Dog bowls provided and towel to clean dogs after a walk. Restaurant on site was really good. Electric vehicle charging also available.

A beautiful mansion-like boutique hotel in a superb, serene location, surrounded by trees. You are no more than a handful of steps away from a forest path leading into undisturbed greenery with birdsong all around, and it would be a perfect setting for a classic murder mystery. The hotel is decidedly an upmarket affair, but the price is quite reasonable all things considered, and good value. The bathroom alone is bigger than some hotel rooms I've had. The food choice for dinner may seem limited and a bit pricey, but it is of excellent quality, very much a case of not making any compromises. The breakfast wasn't all that exciting, pretty much a "set menu" affair, but more than adequate.

Nothing as such, and everything was entirely as expected, but location, style, and facilities are geared for an upmarket domestic clientele looking for a retreat, rather than international tourists. This isn't meant as criticism of any kind, but casual travellers will find neither nightlife nor any pizzerias or bierstuben.

Everything about Hotel Jagdhaus Waldfrieden exceeded our expectations. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was beautiful. Our dinner was very good as was breakfast the next morning

I cant think of a single criticism

Very peaceful and beautiful property in a forest/park setting. The room and the common areas are beautifully decorated. The breakfast was very nice with a good choice of meats, cheese, fruits etc. They also served a stand with some small exclusive food, such as fruits and jams. There is a charging station for electric cars, so the next morning we could set off with a full battery. From the room we had direct access to a nice garden. Great when you travel with a dog.

Nothing to dislike.

Great location en route to Sweden by car . We had 2 well behaved labs with us whom enjoyed the forest walking, we booked again for our next trip !
