We've stayed at the hotel every year for the past 10 years. We appreciate the care and attention to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We loved the cozy breakfast room, the staff's willingness to make fresh eggs for guests and the feeling that you are staying in a part of Bad Wimpfen's history.

We wish they had a lift to some of the higher floors.

Alexander was extremely helpful from the moment we booked our reservation. He was very professional and helpful as we researched our ancestry in Bad Wimpfen, too. He went above and beyond to help us. The hotel was charming and lovely throughout. Our room was spacious and offered a fabulous view. Bathroom was new and extremely clean with a nice shower and plenty of hot water. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good in their charming breakfast room. All staff members were friendly and helpful. We hope to return.

Beautifully refurbished historic building with bags of character. Superb location on the old town with parking spaces opposite the hotel. Very quiet location. Our room was on the first floor and was very comfortable. A fan and a kettle were provided which were appreciated. We particularly appreciated the fridge containing a small bottle of Sekt! Breakfast was beautifully presented with lots of options. The owners clearly care very much about their hotel and their guests’ comfort. We would certainly stay here again.

Nothing - it was all perfect! But for the less mobile be aware there is no lift and some of the rooms are quite high up the building.

This a well-run hotel in a beautiful old building in a quiet, but central, location. My room was comfortable and well-appointed. Spotlessly clean. I was visiting in very hot weather and this hotel was the most comfortable place I visited in terms of dealing with the heat. The landing was air-conditioned and the management had the good sense to leave the doors to the rooms open, so that they were at a comfortable temperature on arrival. Secure storage for bicycles. Good communication prior to arrival and helpful staff.

Clean, cosy room in a cute heritage building. Comfy beds and great service. Small details like the complimentary drink or the fruits left in reception (I took the kiwi for our baby but I ate it myself!) go a long way to make you feel like home. The weather was surprisingly good for the time of the year, so we barely used the heating, but I can confirm it works great. The bathroom looked like newly renovated or extremely clean! The spacious desk allowed me to carry out some pending work on my laptop comfortably.

This is a beautiful heritage building so the rooms and corridors are not very spacious. Not a problem for us and smaller accommodation make for a cosy stay.

Beautiful restored 15th century building. Double room was spacious. Comfortable beds. Shower room was large. All modernised to a high spec standard 2 minutes walk to town centre and Christmas markets. Quiet. High quality windows. Breakfast was a good buffet with individual items. WiFi was strong. Martina who ran the breakfast room was very friendly. Alexander was most welcoming on arrival.

Great location by restaurants and items of interest. Charming staff and excellent breakfast for minimal cost. Everything remodeled and new looking. Bathroom was fantastic. Nothing to complain about except there was no elevator and covered parking. But safe area and minimal cost $4. Although parking machine broken so parked free. Would stay here again and will recommend to friends. Had two rooms.

Just be aware it's an older building with no elevator. 50+ steps up to room. Not a problem for us but if you have difficulty with steps ask for room on lower floor.

Characterful proper but with very contemporary and comfortable rooms. Very clean with a good bathroom. Lovely outlook and easy to find. Easy self service check in. Nice welcoming touches.

A little confusing about parking. You need some coins for the parking meter which we didn’t have.

Very good location in the center of the city, quiet area. Lovely place, incredible modern accommodation in an old traditional building. Very kind staff – the owners and the staff from breakfast and housekeeping. They helped us with the suitcases up and down the second floor. Efficient self check in procedure. A small bottle of champagne in the fridge as a welcome. Big room, big bathroom with a huge walk in shower. Nice view from the room. Fridge in the room. Cleanliness. Good breakfast, although still can be improved. Many public parking spots in front of the hotel (cost 4 Euros per day from 10 AM to 8 PM or fractioned). Good value for money.

No 24 hour staffed reception but this was not a problem.
