I loved the very warm team and historical aspect of the hotel. The vineyard adjoins the hotel. It’s a charming boutique hotel nestled in nature. The Manager of the hotel was very warm and welcoming and always available for help. The main sommelier and also the owner was very warm and knowledgeable. We discussed about wines and I loved his passion for his wines.

It’s little away from Baden Baden so if you don’t have your mode of transportation, it could be difficult to commute. However for me this wasn’t the same. This I don’t actually see as disadvantage as you can’t get vineyard in the heart of town.

Lovely room and private parking in the Courtyard. Fantastic breakfast and the lady preparing breakfast was very friendly and efficient.

Menu was limited in the restaurant and the lady explained they couldn’t offer dishes without any cheese (I am allergic to cheese) so we had to look for somewhere else to eat. This proved a problem as we were turned away from the Egel and the restaurant directly opposite was closed for the evening. We found a lovely restaurant approx 15 mins walk called Weinberg - it turned out being the best meal we had all holiday absolutely beautifully cooked and really friendly atmosphere - highly recommended and half the price of the menu items at Schloss.

Picturesque location among the vineyards. Rooms were very clean (fresh flowers were a nice touch), but the decor is a bit dated. Easy access from the motorway and just a couple minutes drive from Baden Baden. Plenty of parking spaces. Very friendly & welcoming staff. Wine tasting is a must - great experience run by the very maker of the wines you try.

The restaurant in the castle was only open for half the week (may have been impacted by the fact we've visited outside of the high season).

Beautiful setting in quiet location overlooking the vineyards. High quality refurbish. The shower was amazing. Friendly welcome. We were offered a glass of wine when we arrived but wanted to see Baden Baden so unfortunately had to decline the kind offer. Very substantial breakfast.

The castle restaurant doesn’t open everyday. We did know this before we arrived so not a problem. There were a couple of other options to eat in the village without the need to drive out. We actually ate at the cafe in the castle courtyard which is run separately to the hotel. This had a limited regional menu. Probably not good value compared to food elsewhere on our tour. It was a lovely setting but food not to our personal choice.

Beautiful location. We arrived late yet check-in wasn’t an issue. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely, but was a set menu. Water was replenished each day and the breakfast was great, with an in-house chef to make any egg dishes for you. The fresh bread was also lovely. The coffee machine wasn’t working, however it was an automatic coffee machine so it was no loss in my opinion. The alternative french press coffee was much better.

We didn’t have towels in our room when we arrived and no in room phone, but a simple stroll back down to the restaurant sorted that out quickly. There was also no fridge in the room or kettle/tea, but I noticed on the way to breakfast there is a communal station for tea/coffee whenever you want it. Overall, was great and I recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience - a beautiful restaurant with an interesting menu and great wine pairing, a clean and spacious hotel room, a comfortable bed, and a plentiful breakfast. Everything was great and the staff was polite and helpful. Do take a walk in the area and explore the vineyards, it is worth it! Baden Baden city center is just a 10-minute drive away.

The only thing, that would have made the overall experience even better, is the possibility of plugging electric vehicles on site.

Stayed there for 2 nights , and it was fantastic. Nice big and clean room in the breakfast building. Super and very personal breakfast service with wine . The wine is very good, so be sure to buy some bottles with you home. It is a relaxing place , just to sit in the yard and drink some wine. Restaurant was closed on Tuesday , but it is was possible to find some else to eat in the town. Me and my wife will be back for sure 👍

Nothing , everything was fantastic

The whole experience was fabulous. We were greeted warmly and offered a welcome drink. Our room was beautiful, spacious and very clean. The breakfast was very nice with attentive service. I would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

A nicer view from our room, but minor detail. All you have to do is walk into the courtyard to admire the surroundings.

There is no restaurant here but it didn’t bother us. They gave us a list of recommended restaurants nearby to try if we wanted to.

Installations in excelent conditions, all new and very well cared. High quality bed, sheets, towels, pillows, everything extremely comfy. Excelent breakfast, good variety of food, crunchy and warm croissants.
