It's a family run hotel located in two attached old buildings in the center and very near to the Rhine promenade of Bingen. Shops, cafes and restaurants are very nearby, also the secondary trainstation Bingen-Stadt and main bus station. Even I was a single guest I got a very spacious big room with a huge modern bathroom. Breakfast buffet was superb. The hotel has normaly no luggage storage as there is no staff or owner at the hotel between 11.00 am and 15.00 pm. However the owner was very helpful to find a solution for to leave the lugguage after check out.

It is not a dislike but just an advice. There is no staff or owner at the hotel between 11.00 am and 15.00 pm. Everything goes by intercom between these times. The hotel keeps a strict from 15.00 pm on check in time. Therefore you can not store lugguage at the hotel if you arrive before 15.00 pm. Be aware there are no where public lockers in Bingen not even at the two train stations for to store your lugguage. Let the hotel also know if you arrive very late.

Check-in was a breeze. The woman assisting us over the intercom was extremely helpful and patient. The rooms were very clean and very quiet. I LOVED that you could open the windows and get fresh air. That was very nice. The breakfast was way beyond my expectations. A great selection of foods and very delicious and high quality. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would absolutely stay here again.

The hotel was a bit dated (creaky floor). It is odd how the rooms are laid out. It was tricky to find the room (as I had to go through one hall to go upstairs and then go down another hall the opposite way - but this was just because it is an older building). However, the rooms and public areas are very clean and in good shape.

We'd accidentally booked the wrong date and only realised upon arrival. The hotel manager was very kind about it and we were lucky enough that one room was still available. We cycled to the hotel, and could store and charge our e-bikes safely. The breakfast options were good. The room had a nice view. The hotel is situated next to the railway, but the room is sound proofed well and the trains are only noisy if you open the windows.

Location was excellent with good parking, quiet and away from traffic. Room was spacious with a nice little balcony.

The breakfast options were ok. I might be a little spoiled. I would have loved more vegetarian options, more serial options. I struggled with the digital check-in. I was too early and the software did not indicate why I can't check in. Had to call which resolved the problem immediately.

Very friendly and helpful owner. Big comfortable bed, very clean and well appointed bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Recommended, and really convenient just a few minutes off the motorway to a lovely quiet riverside town. A friendly weinkeller nearby for an evening drink or meal. Thumbs up Bingen! Thumbs up Hotel Krone!

It was across from the river. The breakfast was great, good selection. My particular room had been renovated and had modern bathroom facilities. A couple of good local restaurants short walk.

No negative experience not suitable for people with reduced mobility as there are stairs only.

The location is in city center & overlooking Rhine river. Anne was very helpful & friendly. She responds to our enquiries promptly & accurately. All the staff are friendly. They always greet us with a smile.

The room is small and there is no aircondition or electric fan for summer heat.

The breakfast was very nice and plentiful with a great selection. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We appreciated all of our interactions with the staff. The hotel was centrally located.

The hotel had an automated check-in system… Which took a little thought as to how to interact with it. It was a little different but overall it was OK to deal with.

Lovely hotel near the centre of Bingen. Both rail stations are walking distance and the river is a short walk away. Breakfast was very nice and tasty. Bed was comfy and shower very powerful. Will most definitely stay again.

The room I stayed in had some stairs within the room behind the door, which made it a little difficult to shut and lock the door but it wasn't a major issue.

We had a large room, at the top of the building, the windows were brilliant and could be wide open or closed with shutters. They did a nice job of renovations. Breakfast was lovely. Bikes safe in a dedicated lockup (we don't have ebikes but if you do, there are chargers in there).

Not a fan of the bathroom door. Obviously you can hear trains, it wasn't a drama.
