Location was ok , but too many roadworks ( not the fault of the hotel). Because we were visiting family in Bochum, other services were not required, so no comment.

We thought we were booking the other B&B Hotel in Bochum. Maybe it could have been made clearer in description of site of hotel. (near university).We have stayed there in the past before it changed to B&B HOTELS.

The property is one U-Bahn station away from Bochum Hauptbahnhof, near to the Rathaus. The property is relatively new, modern, basic and clean. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. We booked a family room for 4 nights as we were visiting family and friends to celebrate New Year. The room was on the 5th floor and looked out to a railway track. We however did not see or hear any trains (we had read from other reviews that this was an issue). The family room had bunk beds for our 2 children and a double bed for us. It was big enough for our needs. The shower/ toilet is small, however that too fitted in with our requirements. We booked for breakfast on some of the days and it was again ok with all of us and reasonably priced

I liked the location of this hotel, the cleanliness and staff were lovely. I felt this was good value for money and very close to the centre of Bochum. I was staying here as a solo traveller whilst on a study trip for 5 nights. I felt safe in the city and in the hotel. I liked that it is coded entry rather than having a key card. The room was ideal for what I needed. A comfy bed, hot shower and storage for clothes etc. Overall very happy with the hotel. The room was a perfect size for a solo traveller.

The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was tasty and sufficient for our needs. The hotel is a 15 minute brisk walk from the HBF which meant it is fairly quiet. There is a new retail centre opened two minutes away for essential provisions, immaculately presented. A decent sized twin room with an excellent shower. I would recommend this hotel if you want a safe, comfortable stay in this very pleasant city.

Clean and quiet.

The view from the window was to the railway which wasn’t nice. There was also a lot of construction work around the hotel at the time of our stay which made moving around the hotel a little bit uncomfortable. I booked a room for 2 persons but we had 4 beds in the room. I think this took a lot of space away and I would have preferred a room just for 2 persons.

- Hotel room was quite small - Breakfast had limited choice of food - Breakfast area was crowded and loud (lots of people talking)

The staff was very friendly and kind. We are a family of four and stayed in a family room. The room was clean and small, but it was enough for just a 1 night stay. My kids enjoyed the bunk beds.

Parking was fully booked but it was not clear that reservations were required for parking. We were able to park in a garage only 1 block away. Unfortunately our room window was next to a train station and early morning platform announcements woke us up.

Nice and clean hotel and room, kids was happy with bunk bed, family rooms so don’t need to pay for 2 rooms, close to the town centre and bakery. Car park available on the site (€15 extra to the room price). Pet friendly.

Everything had been prepared well. The rooms were clean. The reception staff teams were professional and helpful.

We were at the mercy of the construction in the vicinity. The view includes the train passengers.

B and B's are generally no frills but are clean and comfortable. Hotel was easy to find and (although I didn't realise at the time), Bochum West train station is only a few yards away.
