❤️🪩We stayed at this hotel for the TS Eras Tour concert in Veltins Arena Gelsenkirchen. We were so glad we chose H+ Hotel Bochum! Wonderful staff, very kind and helpful. "It's nice to have a friend." 🛏️🌟Room was a little dated, but hey, it "never goes out of style". The room was very clean and spacious. We had ordered an extra bed for our twin room so that we could stay with 3 people. This was only 30 euros extra and the bed was perfectly set up upon arrival. The hotel offered early check-in or late check-out if we needed it, so we could "sleep in half the day just for old times’ sake". 🥐☕The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had many options to choose from. Great coffee, too, so we didn't have to get "three hundred takeout coffees later". 🚗🅿️When we came back from the concert around 1:30AM, there were more cars than available parking spaces at the hotel. The staff was super helpful and instructed us to park our car on the grass. That way we didn't have to park somewhere else and walk back in the middle of the night. This was greatly appreciated. 🩷🫶Thank you!

Good breakfast and friendly staff. The hotel is perfect for Starlight Express (which is why we booked) but otherwise you need to catch a tram to the centre but it's very easy and not too far. You could walk but a bit of a way.

The bathrooms were very clean and fine but could perhaps do with an upgrade at some point. It would have been good to have a kettle in the room too. The hairdryer was in the bathroom on the wall - could do with an upgrade.

A very nice place, not super new but clean and well maintained. Parking is relatively unexpensive, the staff very pleasant, the room was clean and everything necessary was there, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. The location is not far from the highway, which is also good.

The AC was a bit confusing, seems it did not work in the night in terms of heating. It was not a problem as it was warm in the room.

The room had everything we needed, was beautifully clean - and loved being able to fully open the windows instead of using air conditioning. The breakfast buffet was outstanding.

Buffet dinner was disappointing. Hot dishes not hot, nothing there for kids. I like vegetables lightly cooked, but most were way too under-done. Dessert yoghurt/fruit and the mouse were delicious. It would have saved a lot of anxiety if I had been warned about the car sticker I needed to drive in Bochum. As it was, I applied for one the morning we left Belgium for Bochum, but it didn't arrive until 3 days later. At least tell travellers where they can buy the stickers other than online when booking last minute!! As it was, we didn't get stopped, so we were OK.

Nice place, spacious rooms with the needed items. There is a small but cozy wellness/sauna as well. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, but the time there was comfy and all good.

Paid parking space that is quite expensive for hotel guests. But there are chargers, so they have good accomodation

Clean and large rooms, good wifi, good toilet and shower, amazing but small sauna, mostly empty. Very good breakfast and nice personal.

The location is quite far from the city but very calm. It's a little too expensive for the location. Mostly a business hotel.

Friendly staff. Good size, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was lovely. Location excellent if visiting Starlight Express.

Limited on-site parking which can become full easily. Fortunately, there is another car park some 50m away for 5 euros per 24hr.

Really decent corporate hotel. Nice location next to the football stadium. Rooms comfortable and pretty spacious. Quiet enough. Plenty to eat of a decent standard at the breakfast buffet. Large bathroom. Easy to reach by public transport from the main station with just a few minutes walk from the tram. Excellent VFM

This best location if you are going to Football game or Starlight Express. Also tram station is not too far, or if you want to use cab, it is also good. Parking from of hotel was great and relatively cheap. Room was good and quite.

I visited hotel on weekend and it was really busy, which also lead to situtation that breakfast was really too busy.

I liked everything. Convenient for Starlight Express. Room was quiet and comfortable with tea & coffee. The weekend buffets are good, but book early. Breakfast excellent and the Staff very professional and friendly.

There isn’t anything that I didn’t like!
