The location is great with easy access to the U11 train to Essen Hbf. It's also next to Grugapark, a large park with gardens and a great place for a morning run. If you drive and are willing to walk a bit, you can find free parking in the neighborhood around the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and modern, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom and shower. The windows had metal shutters, which were nice for keeping it dark to sleep in. The breakfast was tasty, but a bit expensive.

I wish the room had had a fan in it since it was warm during my stay and I don't think there was air conditioning. At check in I told the staff I'd pay for the hotel breakfast both days. I changed my mind the second day, but they charged me for it anyway. The hotel breakfast is fine, but there are plenty of restaurants nearby that would have been cheaper.

The location is perfect for events in the Messe. We enjoyed our stay, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was mostly nice.

There are very few options for breakfast and there is no variety at all, it is the exact same every morning. After a few days, it would have been refreshing to get something new. Also, outside breakfast hours coffee is very expensive.

Location of this hotel properties, for Exhibition purposes, very good stay over all.

I do not like the in room coffee facilities, provides in room coffee only upon request by room gest. may be we paid the room rental charges did not included the coffee packs, hotel management need to inform its room gest.

Location is perfect for those who search for quiet area. The window in our apartment looked out onto the courtyard which is very nice, green and quiet. The area of the city Rüttenscheid where the hotel is located is very cozy, comfortable, quiet and clean neighborhood. The apartment was great. Everything was clean and comfortable. It's very fresh as well.

We are really happy with the stay. Only 2 min walk to the Messe Essen. Spacious appartment, clean and nice. We got a room on the 5th floor with balcony.

Nothing to dislike but cutlery and dishes only for two people.

Hotel is a little bit tired. Hallways are not super clean. Breakfast is very simple and same thing every day. Coffee should be free :)

The breakfast was good, continental, good quality products, but would be nice to have some warm food, like scrambled eggs, bacon/sausages, maybe pancakes.

Stunning appartment, very new, tasteful furniture and everthing what you would want. I only stayed for one night as it's opposite the Grugahalle where I attended an event. But if you happen to need accomodation in Essen I can strongly recommend this place

If you arrive as a pedestrian it might be a bit difficult to find the entrance.

Location was perfect for Essen Spiel. Decent nearby restaurants and bars as well. The U-bahn entrance located practically right outside the front door was a bonus.

Lights from the parking lot and no blackout curtains on the windows made for a less restful sleep.
