Nice renovate roadside hotel, the only one in Bochum area with prices below EUR 70 - great option for travellers on budget. Recently renovated rooms, large parking lot and really helpful owner. You get what you pay for - clean room with two beds, fresh and new pillows and sheets, sink in the room, clean toilets and showers in the hallway. Don't expect luxury, but Bon Marche Bochum is better than several places in town which advertise their comfort, charge around EUR 70, and you get the same basic room - but here in Bon Marche it was sparkling clean. Automatic check in for those arriving late. The owner goes above and beyond when you need any help. I have travelled to Bochum many times this year, but budget-wise this is the only reasonable option, if your company is not paying your bills :) Good transport connections: 6 minutes walk to U-Bahn + bus stop 100 metres from hotel.

Exactly what I was looking for! A quiet, clean, cool room with a bed and a sink. Had everything I needed for a good nights sleep! Bathrooms in the hallway were clean, people were friendly.

A little out of the way but tram stop just down the road straight into Bochum centre.

The rooms are just as depicted in the images, quite spacious as well. The self check-in system is convenient once to know it exists.
