Everything was fine, there was nothing to complain about. The place has a special athmosphere, it is the characteristic mixture of an East German commyblock and of the architecture of the early 90s (meanwhile everything works perfectly and the place is kept tidy and clean) so for those who had no experience of the Eastern Block from before 1990 can get a hint of that era, meanwhile the hotel provides a very good value for price service. I absolutely recomend it.

The bedrooms were huge, and the staff was nice, trying their hardest to speak English as we had lots of questions.

The building was very different in the negative way from what was presented on the Booking.com website. It was one of the many blocks of flats in the area with very wobbly playgrounds in front, where all the kids living there played. It felt like visiting very old relative more than a vacation. And that is exactly how the inside was, everything was old, very shabby and dirty from the entrance of the building up to our apartment. Soon, we found out where the dirt was coming from, as we were waiting for keys at the reception, builders straight from the building site arrived from work. We also found out that this aparthotel provides long term accommodation for workers and immigrants, guessing by the many mothers with prams and children getting in and out of the hotel hanging around the 'safe' playground. As we were only sleeping one night, we decided to go to the apartment and try to rest. The bedrooms looked neat although outdated, but the kitchen was disgusting, there is no other description. The bathroom looked recently renovated, but it still couldn't cover the dirty toilet after whoever used it last. The night was hot....of course no air conditioning just wind through balcony. Although the bed sheets were clean, it couldn't hide the smell from the pillows which who knows were washed last. And to top it up, the Internet connection...hahaha nearly nonexistent. The receptionist informed us that our partment has the worst WiFi signal, and other residents have their own WiFi as been living here for long time. We didn't dare to pay 12 Euro per person for breakfast and ate our leftovers instead. And my conclusion, do not trust all the photos on the website, as they might be deceiving, but if you are looking for long term accommodation or are family in need, this place might be the solution. I believe if booked in advance it is cheaper, but we paid £97 for this unpleasant experience...
