We knew the hotel was 20 minutes by tram from the centre as we had stayed 3 times before. A pleasant quiet area. Was disappointed that the hotel had new owners and had been updated. It was dark, shiny and bland, not homely and full of character as it once was. Having said that I would stay there again. The duvets need to be bigger as they slipped off the bed during the night so not the best few night's sleep. Also we like a proper double bed, not too singles pushed together with a gap in the middle. Breakfast was brilliant. Everything you would expect, and more. And the staff were very friendly and helpful. As I said, a few niggles but overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

As mentioned above the general darkness of the decor. The pushed together single beds and slippery duvets!

Spacious, comfortable, 10-15 minutes from the major autobahn connections, ample and good breakfast. We were approaching Bremen after a day’s drive, consulted booking.com for a place in or near Bremen and found this one. Good decision.

More an issue with booking.com, but even with the filter “ includes breakfast”, the only option that didn’t have it included was this one with “garden view”. So, a small increase for this option turned out to be a EURO 52+ difference at Euro 26 pp for breakfast.

Room is modern and spacious, so are the bathrooms, Breakfast had a lovely variety of local specialties and is served until 11 so plenty of time to tuck in and enjoy.

The room was on the second floor, it was a hot spell in Bremen with little air going. The rooms have no AC, only a stand up fan and were extremely hot and would not cool down during nighttime despite opening the windows. Airconditioning in general is not that prominent in Germany in low rise properties where one can open windows.

Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Had an evening meal on arrival and despite being very busy, the restaurant made provision for me and the meal was excellent as was the breakfast the following morning. Room was clean modern and comfortable.

Very little to dislike though the WiFi did not work in my room. This is only a comment and not a criticism as it was not a big problem for me so I did not contact reception and therefore did not give them the opportunity to fix.

Amazingly comforable hotel in a wonderful location surrounded by green everywhere. Connection to the city centre was without any troubles, approachable by both car or a public transportation. The stuff was exceptionally wonderful, each of the stuff members helped us, were very friendly and doing their job with wonderful precision and even more amazing approach to the guests. Hospitality on another level. We may have experienced breakfast in a restaurant Victorian, little snacks and drinks in a Winter garden and wonderful 3 course dinner and drinks in a restaurant Chalet - IT WAS AMAZING. I cannot find any negatives.

excellent family room with plenty of space even with the sofa bed open. very nice shower room [grandson commented larger than his bedroom at home] wifi operated with no connectivity issues. complimentary water and more in mini bar appreciated as it was a very hot, humid night. the breakfast options were excellent and set us up a treat for our onward travel. all the staff we connected with were very helpful

absolutely nothing 'not to like'. as this was literally an overnight stay as part of our long journey we were not able to experience all the facilities offered which is a 'minus' point but on our part

Excellent décor and building condition with a very attractive two storey atrium with lounges on each floor and an extensive library in one. Staff very friendly and helpful in explaining how to use the tram#4 to get to the central area. Excellent extensive breakfast buffet and food/ atmosphere in dining room in the evening. Extensive parking which is free

Very comfortable hotel, in a strategic position to visit the city or for moving to other places. Staff very professional, superb breakfast, good restaurant, free wifi connection and parking facility. Quality/price ratio extremely good. Really the right choise to stay in Bremen

Noise doors/locks! Why do all hotels have noisey doors/locks! Surley, someone should have invented a 'quite' hotel door/lock by now.

It is a very nice hotel with a beautiful room. It was clean and the bed was great. The bathroom was clean and new. The breakfast in the morning was great. A lot of options. The hotel had free parking.

I was there in the summer and it was very hot in my room. Airco or at least a ventilator would have been nice. Opening the window was not a possibility because of the mosquitos. Other than that, it was a great stay and would visit again.
