Best possible location. Beautiful hotel. Very friendly and professional and helpful staff. Amazing breakfast buffet, with complimentary champagne. Many options for vegans. Minibar in the room is also complimentary, restocked daily.

The toilet and shower and wash basin are located awkwardly smack in the middle of the bedroom. You can walk around it. This significantly reduces the usable space of the room. Also, when traveling with your partner or a companion it is quite uncomfortable and too close for comfort without privacy to go to the toilet. There is no ventilator fan to reduce the unavoidable sounds and smells coming from the toilet.

Everything was great, except for one thing which can be improved - more attention to requests made in advance during booking. The hotel team forgot to fulfill my request (which I asked in advance via booking and the hotel representative confirmed that they would take care of that) provide me with pillows and blankets without feathers. when I arrived in the evening, it took them more than one hour to get the bed stuff changed.

Ideal Location, very generous sized room and super comfortable bed, lovely facilities, helpful staff. Hotel was a great refuge after hot summer days , its central location was ideal for exploring the city, and the sauna and rooftop courtyard terrace were much appreciated , as were the free drinks in the mini bar. Having to leave the great hospitality the hotel offered us Our room didnt have a full separation between the bathroom area and the bedroom- with sink in public area of the room. ( shower and toilet of course were each enclosed behind respective doors). This was fine for one of us , and not liked by the other. Not certain if all rooms have a similar design.

Centrally located in the heart of Dresden, most sights and monuments are within walking distance of the hotel. It is also reasonably close to the central train station, which makes it easy to use trams and buses (Do be sure to get a public transportation card as soon as you arrive, as most tram stops do not have machines). The breakfast buffet was varied and excellent, and the bedroom was massive.

Being located in the city center means that you will have to deal with the noise in the streets, especially if there's a festival or a major event in town.

Absolutely one of the most outstanding hotels I have ever experienced, very spacious room and lovely contemporary design, a free mini bar replenished every day, super quiet, flawless wi-fi, a great spa in the basement, a lovely massive and diverse breakfast spread with truly freshly squeezed orange juice thrown in and a lovely, professional and efficient staff! Did I mention the great location next to the Schloss entrance in the Old City. I hope to be back it was a perfect stay!

I cannot think it could be better. I’d give it a 12 if I could!

The room was very nice and the staff at the front desk were very accommodating. We needed to print a reservation for a train ticket and they were very helpful.

The staff in the restaurant. My husband was not feeling well the second night of our stay, so I went into the restaurant. No one came out to acknowledge me. They were still open for an hour or so. So i gave up, and I asked the staff at reception if it was possible to heat up food. They asked the cook, and the answer was not unless it was in a glass container. It was in a foil container with a lid, so the answer was no. This problem would not have occurred if they gave rooms a microwave. We have observed that if the hotel/ apartment has a restaurant, there is no microwave in the room. Since they give you a refrigerator, they should also give you the ability to reheat your leftovers.

The hotel is well located right near the river and old city gate in Dresden. It's also about a 5 minute walk from the famous Christmas Market. It's a large complex with plenty of space. Our room was extremely spacious and the complementary mini bar was a really nice touch. The shower was hot with good water pressure as well! The staff member at the checkin desk was extremely kind and knowledgable as well. She also remembered me when I approached to check out. Plenty of parking available directly under the hotel as well, which was nice to access our floor and room directly via the elevator from the garage.

The rooms were a bit older. They could use a refresh at some point. But that did not detract from the stay very much.

Great value for money. Free mini bar for which I was only interested in the non-alcoholic drinks.. cola/fanta/water but welcome in the hot weather. The hotel bar was a nice and friendly facility and comfortable too Reception staff helpful and with good English

Wasn't so happy about being asked for a credit card deposit. When I asked why I was told to cover bar bills etc.. but I have a preference to settle any such expense at the tome and not put it on the room. Clearly there has been some reason to do this on the hotel's part. But I never come across this before. Staff informed the charge would be cancelled if not needed after a few days but I was uncomfortable with this.

The location is perfect if you want to stay right in the center of the old part of the city. The rooms are sound proof and have very comfortable beds. And the contents of the minibar are included!

Everything was great except when we arrived early the lady at the reception was obviously annoyed by something or maybe it was because I didn’t tell her my name first before I explained that we got there early so if the room wasn’t ready we’d be total fine with coming back later. For a hotel in this category I expected a more friendly welcome.

The check-in/check-out was quick and easy. The room was very tastefully decorated with high ceilings and modern fixtures. The spa was very classy, clean, quiet. The location of the hotel was truly in the center of the beautiful historic old town, close to tram, malls, many restaurants, and the river. Having bottled water and a coffee machine available in the room for free was a nice bonus.

While I did not try the breakfast and therefore cannot comment on the food or selection, I felt that 29 Euros for a breakfast was simply too expensive. I was also unable to find a price-list for the mini-bar.
