We stayed at the Sheraton Dusseldorf Hotel for just one night to celebrate a special occasion - my son's 40th birthday . From the moment we arrived, everything about our stay was smooth and pleasant . The hotel's location is ideal for travellers, with direct airport access, yet it remains surprisingly quiet and comfortable . Our room was clean, well-appointed, and perfect for a short stay . What truly made the experience memorable, however, was our dinner at Otto Restaurant . We had chosen it for this important celebration, and we could not have been happier . The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious . A special mention must got to our waiter, whose impeccable service and genuine kindness really made the evening feel special . He took the time to ensure everything was perfect for us, offering excellent recommendations and adding those small personal touches that turn a nice meal into a truly memorable occasion . His attentiveness and friendly manner made us feel valued and welcome throughout the night . Thank you to both Sheraton Dusseldorf and Otto Restaurant for helping us create a wonderful memory for this milestone birthday . We would gladly return and highly recommend both the homeland the restaurant to others .

Great location for the airport, friendly staff, especially Danny who sorted out my room change after my tv didn't work. Had a huge comfy bed, fridge, iron. Only coffee making facilities in the room but loved the peppermint tea via room service. Liked the gym and also the sun terrace with turtles! That was a nice surprise.

TV didn't work in my first room but this was sorted promptly and my second room was great. Housekeeping knocked to see what time I was checking out but think they were maybe used to guests leaving early for their flights. I had arrived on a late flight.

The hotel is located right in the airport surrounding and you can access directly from the hotel lift. The rooms are excellent and well kept and the pillows are superb. The restaurant does great food, and the servers are fantastic and friendly. One server in particular (did not get his name unfortunately) was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home. The desk lady who checked me in was also extremely friendly and welcoming.

There is not too much not to like. Information regarding accessing the hotel may be available, but I was not able to locate and I ended up rambling a bit further than maybe I would have liked.

The room was comfortable and warm. Coffee machine, a safe, iron, and an ironing board was available to use. We had a showerhead in a bath option. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Open 24 hours. Free Wi-Fi is available. We did not have breakfast, but an early bird departure breakfast snack was laid out by reception, which was appreciated. The hotel is centrally situated within walking distance to train station of airport connections. Thank you very much in the German language: Danke.

Very close to the airport and didn’t have any issue with the airport. Also if you are planning to take this hotel just before you leave and want to park your car… park it in P3 and take the night you are staying including.

They couldn’t tell me what to do with the car my parking was only starting the day after I arrived… so I was disappointed in the knowledge they had explaining me what best to do! They send me to the garage with the complete wrong information. But they were very friendly.

The hotel was SUPER convenient for the airport, across the street! And the train to the city was down the escalator outside the hotel entrance! Once inside you wouldn’t know you were in an airport. Very quiet with a nice bar area and friendly staff. The hotel breakfast was exceptional, my daughter rated it as her top hotel breakfast ever! Lots of choices and amazing German bread selection.

Was a bit above our budget - but no regrets!

The hotel's location is perfect for those who do not want to rush before a flight and be stressed about whether they will be on time at the airport! The hotel's windows are soundproof, and the beds are comfortable so that you get a good night's sleep. The free water bottles in the room are nice to have, and the air conditioning works well as it should.

The breakfast buffet is not as abundant as it used to be, and the quality of the pastries and bread has declined since 2022. Filtered coffee is average and not warm. It is a pity since the amount charged for the breakfast is considerable.

From check-in to check-out, I was greeted and blessed with absolute excellence at all levels. The hotel is seamlessly integrated within the airport complex, thereby being straightforwardly accessible to and from the terminal (either via departure or arrival floors). And all that in absolute silence, with not even the faintest sign of noise from the airport operations. The overall layout and ambiance are refreshingly simple, welcoming and sympathetic, with smooth soothing tones and nicely traditional decor with subtle elements in a relaxing no-frills atmosphere. The staff was outstandingly welcoming, diligent and helpful, especially at the reception, at the evening bar, and at the restaurant. The room was abundantly equipped, spotlessly clean, fresh and comfortable, showing further excellence from management to maintenance and cleaning personnel. All those staff members who were on duty from the evening of May 20th to the late morning of May 21st deserve uttermost praise, having provided a 5-star experience far exceeding the expectations associated to a mid-upper-ranked 4-star accommodation. Having stayed before in a direct competitor at the same airport, I can wholeheartedly recommend Sheraton outright due to the staff, ease of access, cozy comfort and overall quality, even if at a higher price. At Sheraton, you will feel welcome and well taken care of. You find smart, witty, kind, diligent professionals throughout. It may not be the glitzy Sheraton that one finds in some United States and tropical destinations, but frankly I prefer the way it is: a cozy premium business-oriented unit that makes the discerning business professional feel at home away from home, and that is the best luxury one can have. The fruitful and enriching exchanges with bar, restaurant and front-desk professionals surely contributed to that feel. Congratulations to the whole team, and until next time!

Smooth check-in, we used the hotel twice: the night before departing for a family vacation and when we got back at Dusseldorf. The airport is a 1 minute walk: all covered so no need of an umbrella. Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice mattresses and when we decided to book a third room on arrival: they switched some things around to keep our family next to each other in one hallway (off course there should be availability) The staff offered this directly, without us even asking. Really flexible and also really nice of them.

Location was great, just outside arrivals in Düsseldorf airport terminal C. With the sky train, could go between terminals in under 3mins, and also within 5mins to the Flughafen train station with easy access to other cities. S-bahn station is just minutes from the hotel, and takes about 20mins to Düsseldorf Hbf. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and the room clean and quiet. We had used the hotel as a quick stopover to refresh after hours of flight delays and our trip was rerouted because of flight cancellations to our original destination due to excessive snowfall, but we are happy to have chosen this hotel for such a comfortable stay!
